'Sharingan awaken in a child who isn't even three years old?' Both of them dumbfound but soon they noticed the little girl's struggling footsteps as she leaned on the stone seat as a support to stand up.
Tsukiho look at Madara as she saw bluish purple colour with in him. She noticed her vision became slightly red colour as she saw a huge amount of blue colour aura appeared behind the stone seat.
'Is this.... sharingan?' She tried to keep her emotions in check to turn off the red vision. But she failed to do as her sadness overwhelmed her.
Madara saw her struggle and placed his boney hands on her shoulders. "Little one take a deep breath and calm down. First you have to turn it off before doing anything."
She looked at him for a moment and saw the genuinely concerned look on his face as she did what he said. After sometime the sharingan slowly disappeared.
He and Naori looked at her with very patient and calm look but from inside they both was dealing with their inner turmoil after seeing two tomoe in her eyes.
"You sure is something else little one" Madara pat her head. "No need to feel that much sadness for me. I'm just a ghost who is more dead than alive. But I can tell you some thing very important. You will always be my one of pride. Today might be dark but that doesn't mean tomorrow will be like that too. Time to time you will have to endure despite the fact you've broken in to piece by piece from inside. So straight up your head and look forward for a better tomorrow. Let the departure of me to become your one of strength. Like the sharingan that you've just awakened. Alright?"
Tsukiho showed a small smile as she hugged him for one last time. "I love you great grandfather. Farewell" for now.... she didn't say the last words out loud.
"Hn, I know that little monster. Take care of yourself and don't give up on what you want. Live a carefree and vigorous life no matter what happens" he affectionately caressed her head for the last time.
"I'll miss you great grandfather" she looked at his winkled face for one last time before leaving with Naori.
Madara smiled proudly but there was hidden bitterness deep within him. 'Little monster you really know how to change people aren't you? Do you know that you almost change the path that I hellbend on. Don't worry I'll definitely achieve true peace no matter what it cost. So you also won't have to fight anymore and we all can be reunited.' He thought to himself before closing his eyes tiredly.
Tsukiho, who went out of the cave with Naori suddenly stopped after feeling a chakra function behind them. Then she saw the cave was slowly disappearing with a huge earth jutsu. Little girl looked at the old lady who look aged another ten years more than her original age in just a single day. "Grandma did you talked to him before come to fetch me?"
"I did baby. Don't worry I'll get this over with in no time." She lifted Tsukiho and started to walk without using Flying Thunder God technique.
Tsukiho didn't say anything and looked at what ahead of her absentmindly. Although she predicted this day would eventually come, when she bid farewell to him she had an extremely complicated feeling. He might be a big boss villain in here but his intention is still not a bad one at all.
He is just another warrior who got tired of seeing death of his own people. Morever he is her great grandfather, a loving family member though he never openly showed it. And he taught her everything she needed to learn as a shinobi. She was very sure that the way she treated him is no less than the way she treated her mentor in her previous life who adopted her when she was in her worst.
He would occasionally told her stories about the clan, Izuna and him. He never asked her to do something in return unlike his doings with Obito in the cannon.
She took a deep breath and looked at her grandma who was concerning about her despite the grief she enduring now. "I'm alright grandma. Great grandfather never wanted me to be like this. From now on, I have to live up to the way he taught me. So he won't feel sad when he went to pure lands. I'll try my best to live a carefree and vigorous life." The sharingan activated unconsciously.
"Let's go grandma. Mom and dad waiting for us." She looked behind to take a final look at the familiar path to the cave entrance and smiled sadly.
'So it's going to start. Now it is time to perfect the Uzumaki blood clone technique and roam in hidden mist village. Seems like after awakening sharingan, my mind eye is also refined. I can faintly sense the whities surrounding here. Black one still seems to out of my level. Or may be it isn't here at all. Most likely it should be first reason, great grandfather is also an excellent sensor but he never found it. And he still didn't use yin-yang release to manifest it. So it should also have very good ability to avoid a sensor. Good don't let me find you' She looked at the way space around her changing. And saw her home in front of her.
She use mind eye of Kagura to sense her parents since she didn't feel any foreign chakra signature. But she felt their chakra signatures have weakened significantly. She frowned and looked at the old lady.
"Let's go and see" she understood her and flickered near them. Before them was Yuna Uzumaki was lying in the ground and Tsumiki was using mystical palm jutsu on her. There was some traces of blood on her lower part of face as it showed the traces of blood vomiting.
"Mom what happened?" Tsukiho went towards her very quickly and checked her.
"Don't worry. I'm fine now baby. It is just some superficial injuries." She smiled weakly as she placed her right hand on her cheek.
"What exactly happened Tsumiki?" The old lady asked.
"I.....I don't.....know mom" he said while shivering. Noticing the abnormality of the situation Tsukiho looked at her father. The purple haired man was crying as he had traces of his own blood all over him.
"It's not your fault honey. Don't blame yourself." The red haired woman placed her other hand on his cheek as she want to console him. "And I won't die that easily. Please believe you know" she lovingly caressed both of them.
