"But if you don't want some"

"Then my special dish for you "

"Is poison"

"Minnie" the busy girl came forward to hear what her master had to say

"I have some guests coming over for lunch "

"Yes Sir" That was all the man had to say and the maid understood it well. Minnie went to the kitchen and started taking things out of the cabinets for preparing the lunch. Jurin gave her the knife and Minnie started cutting the tomatoes to add to the salad. Jurin was also helping her when she noticed Minnie's finger bleeding.

"Are you okay?" She held Minnie's hand looking at the deep cut.

"No need to worry. Iam fine. This is just everyday work of mine" Minnie took her hand away and continued chopping the vegetables as if it wasn't a big deal.

Jurin added salt, pepper and other spices to the stew and mixed it. She tasted it to see if anything was missing in it and gladly there was nothing else that needed to be added because the stew tasted perfect. She used to cook in her last life and knew how to make simple dishes like soup, stew and rice and those cooking skills were helping her in this life of hers. The girls finished the work in the kitchen. Just when they thought that their work was done the doorbell rang and Fredrick who was there went to open the door.

"Ah Good morning Lou...

The man left his sentence uncompleted when he saw that the guy in front of him was not Louis but a black haired guy with brown eyes. It was his best friend Fredrick.

"Good morning Mr and Mrs Alberto. Please come inside Louis is waiting for you"

Fredrick greeted them and the guests stepped inside the mansion. Louis who had heard the noise of the doorbell came downstairs to meet his guests.

"You arrived early" Louis stated looking at his watch

"We were eager to meet you" Mrs Alberto said with a smile on her face. The woman was dressed in a light green dress and her brown hair was tied in a bun.

"Let's go in the living room to talk" Louis spoke and went to the living room being followed by the couple.

They seated themselves on the couch and looked here and there. Their eyes were on the furniture in the room when his voice made them be on him.

"So Mr Alberto"Louis said

"What made you come here to meet me after I blew up your building?"

"Oh that was a huge loss you made me but Louis those were the times when I and you were enemies and now I don't want to be your nemesis. I want to be your friend" Mr Alberto told him with a smile. His brown moustache touched his nostrils.

"We can talk about that later but first tell me if you would like to have tea?"Louis asked the couple changing the topic of their conversation.

"Of course how can we say no?" A cheery smile on Mrs Alberto's face when she said this. Louis ordered his men to go and tell the maids to make tea for his guests. A lot of talks about the past and present took place between Louis and his guests. Talks which were always started by Mr Alberto and the topic of those talks was also ended by him.

"Excuse me. I need to go to the bathroom" Mrs Alberto stood up and left from there. She came near the kitchen and when she was sure there were no eyes on her she entered the kitchen. Minnie was upstairs doing some work while it was Jurin in the kitchen who was preparing the tea. Jurin placed some biscuits in a plate and had only poured the tea in one of the cups when she was disturbed by Mrs Alberto.

"Let me take that?" Mrs Alberto said trying to snatch the tray from Jurin's hand

'No miss. This is not your job" Jurin pulled the tray from her hands but Mrs Alberto didn't stop insisting. When her sweet and kind words didn't work on Jurin she held Jurin's hand tightly.

"What are you doing?" Jurin tried to yank her hand away from the women's grip but her effort wasn't even needed when Mrs Alberto freed her hand. The lady looked at Jurin from head to toe and clicked her tongue.

"Ah i see you are one of those girls" The lady putted her hand inside her pink bag and took out some cash from it. She placed the cash in Jurin's hand and closed it making it change into a fist. The women then took out a pill from her bag and added it into one of the cups.

"What is your...

"Ssh" Mrs Alberto placed her finger on Jurin's lips.The nails of her finger were sharp like a claw and were painted black.

"You know what to do now and this is a secret between you and me. Also don't worry I won't let them kill you" Saying this Mrs Alberto walked away from the kitchen when she bumped into a man.

"Ugh are you blind?" she yelled

"Iam definitely not blind if i saw you going in the kitchen when you said that you were going to the bathroom" The man spoke making Alberto stunned which she didn't show. Instead she made an excuse

"I was thirsty and so I went to fetch water"

"Alright then if your thirst is quenched then please go back to the living room" Mrs Alberto rolled her eyes,clutched her bag and made her way out of there. The man watched as she rushed away,the sound of her heels clicking and ended when she reached the livingroom. He suspected that if they who had to experience the worst because of Louis came here to establish a bond of friendship with him then there must he something wrong. If only he knew that his suspicion was right and the reason for them to be there was to kill his master.

On the other hand,in the kitchen

"Does she want me to give this cup to Louis?" she looked at the tea in the cup which was idnetical to the tea in the other two cups.

"Do they want to kill him?"

"But that is my goal too and if someone is helping me then should i reject it?" she asked herself and then answered the question

"No" The word left silently.

Jurin had decided to join Mr and Mrs Alberto in an attempt to kill him but before she could set her hands on the tray her eyes fell on a small creature,a disgusting coakroach. Jurin didn't fear the coakroach but the urge to kill it took place in her the moment she saw it and for that she slowly crept closer to the insect not letting it get a clue of her presence and as soon as she got the chance

"BAM!"Her foot stomped on the tile on which the coakroach was ending him in a second. He was squished. All of his internal and external organs were destroyed just like the way when a man come's under the foot of an elephant. After doing that she turned behind to pick up the tray which didn't remain there any longer. Before she could understand where the tray vanished to shouts echoed in the house. Shouts of a female made Jurin walk outside to discover what was happening. The screams and crys were coming from the livingroom and at that very moment her mind knew exactly where the tray dissapeared to.

Mr Alberto had taken some sips of the hot steaming tea and had started coughing. He fell on the ground,his chest ached and his saliva dripped on the carpet. Jurin stood by the door while the theif of the tray was there horrified.

"Oh my god Albert ALBERT!" His wife cried watching her beloved husband in such a horrible state. His body was on the floor and he fainted

"Someone call the ambulance!" she shouted at Louis's men who didn't follow her order because they worked for the mafia king only.

The vehcile was only called when Louis told his men to call the ambulance. The ambulance took the poisoned man away and his wife accompanied him in his journey to the hospital and probably to the afterlife if Louis wanted.

"Now which one of you made the tea?" Upon his question Jurin slowly raised her hand. Her head was hanging down and her eyes were on the carpet on which she stood.

"Why did you poison the tea?" He asked her. His eyebrows furrowed but the tone in his voice was soft and he sounded calm which he wasn't.

"That lady told me to give you the cup os poisoned tea. I was going to tell you about it but i got distracted by a coakroach and when i killed it the tray wasn't there because Minnie took it away" Jurin told telling some lies and truths in her statement. Her statement did sound believable but Louis had some other things to ask too.

"Were you going to tell me even if you were given money" A feeling of nervousness possessed Jurin's body. She looked up making eye contact with Louis. She never wanted the money. She only wanted her revenge which she didn't achieve .

"Sir you gave me a shelter and saved me from my abusive aunt and uncle. You didn't let my life go into the hands of an evil man and even arranged for a doctor to treat my wounds when I got here. You are my saviour and in comparing the kindness you have spared me with the money she gave me, your kindness wins. The money didn't have and neither has any importance in my life." The words tasted bitter in her mouth but she had to gain his trust as it was a must.

"Alright, I'll believe you but next time don't get distracted by a cockroach and also don't use those sweet words with me. I hate them" Louis said not just making Jurin but Minnie who was near her surprised as they didn't expect this response from Louis.

"You two can go now" Minnie bowed to Louis and Jurin copied her action.

Both of them went outside of the living room trying to process the event which just happened to them and Louis's reaction to the event. The mafia king didn't seem to be angry when his guest was poisoned. Maybe he knew their plans and was ready to face any damage if they tried to harm him.

"Don't you think Louis... I mean master is acting strange nowadays" Jurin said recalling how he didn't give the brothers a punishment and today she also overcame the problem she was stuck in. Her luck was not willing to leave her and she wished some of this luck was with her in the past.

"I agree with you. I will ask Fredrick if he knows something" Minnie told her. Her hand was on the railing of the staircase as they climbed the stairs step by step.

"Like he will tell you" Jurin spoke getting to the end of the staircase before her.

"Maybe he will" Minnie gave her maid friend a crooked smirk and shrugged her shoulders. They reached their rooms where they could finally rest after the troublesome and tiresome event they just faced.
