“Martha, you should rest early too. Our flight is in the early morning. Leave this to me; I will take care of closing up,” Scovia insisted. Martha hesitated, “But, madam…” Scovia cut her off gently, “No ‘buts.’ You should rest early. I know how much the twins must tire you.”
“Madam, you can’t say that. The twins are so sweet; they could never trouble me,” Martha countered. Chuckling, Scovia relented, “Alright, I’ll handle the rest. Go get some rest yourself,” she decided firmly.” Martha bid her goodnight and left for her own much-needed rest. The room fell silent, save for the soft snores of the twins.
