Automated curtains previewed the sun's morning rays, eradicating all specs of darkness in the new day. Alycia's groggy, sensitive eyes were met with the intense light excuming the entire room. Obliviously, she pushed herself up against the massive plush headboard rested above the bed. Unfamiliarity began to set in, the room presented itself as far from what she could ever recognise. It was a large space which was subsequently flashy, extravagant and luxurious.
Slapping herself in her rattled thoughts, she rapidly jumped out of bed. Glued to her standing position, she examined the room with her roaming eyes.
"Yo, you good?"
Startled by the sudden voice echoing into the room, her body jerked in its direction. Leaning against the tall frame was Ashton, who stood with his arms folded. He erupted into laughter. She was so innocent it would sometimes surprise him.
"Where are we?" Alycia asked anxiously, maintaing her state of physical and mental tension.
