CHAPTER SIX

Prince George POINT OF VIEW

As I wait in the drawing room facing the entrance door I notice a young beauteous lady with two royal guards behind her walking towards me from a distance . For a minute I just admire her sweet pink lips and her beautiful hazel eyes , she definetly looks like a real life goddess with that long curled black hair , beautiful glowing brown skin and adorable petite body . Wherever did her crown go because she looks royalty .

Anyone looking at her from a distance can already tell that she is a power house on her own . I think maybe it is because of the way she fearlessly walks in the palace like she owns it or maybe , because of the aura she carries with her into the room .

As she is a few steps away from me my heart threatens to burst forth from my ribcage . She takes three more steps closer to the drawing room and the environment instantly becomes warm . I have never seen such beauty .

When my uncle mentioned that a vampire hunter is to show up , I surely was not expecting to see a lady let alone a fair one like her . She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever met in my life . Her ambiance as well as her aura is attractive . I bet you if we did not meet under such circumstances , I would definitely ask for her hand in marriage without wasting even a single second . Who needs a princesses ?

‘’ Good morning , your grace . ‘’ The young lady greats me as she formally bows her head and I am instantly knocked out of my fantasy dreams . This must be what people mean by love at first sight . Unfortunately , I will never get the opportunity to indulge more into my emotions or even dream of being with her because reality is that I am a vampire and she is a renowned vampire hunter . Besides even if it was a perfect world where I am a normal prince , my uncle would never let me marry a commoner .

‘’ Your grace , should I organize tea for the guest ? ‘’ One of the royal servants asks and I am pretty sure that at this very moment everyone present in the room can already tell that I fancy the vampire hunter .

‘’ Madam would you like to have some tea with me in the garden ? ‘’ I ask the vampire hunter even though I am very much aware of the risk I will be posing to myself if I were to spend time with her .

‘’ Your grace , Sindy is my name . As refreshing as that tea may sound after the long trip I had , unfortunately I have to decline because I have a lot of work to do . Your grace thank you for the offer but I will pass on this one , maybe next time . ‘’ Sindy responds to me and I see it as a sign from the stars that I should focus more on hiding my identity than being in her company .

Upon hearing her response I command the guards to show her the room assigned to her . Sindy ‘ s room is outside the palace walls , just a walking distance from the royal garden . Oh I really hope that being a little distant from the royal palace will somehow assist me to hide my biggest secret . By all means she should not find out that I am the vampire .

Sindy POINT OF VIEW

As I enter the palace walls I am reminded of everything that transpired the last time I was here . This palace and I definitely have a lot of bad memories together yet here I am today to save them , or at least that is what they think .

The royal guards lead me to the drawing room where Prince George is to welcome me and I must say nothing about this room has changed . You would think that with new management this royal palace ‘ s decor would also change but even they do not have good taste at all . What a pity .

I introduce myself to Prince George who does not pay heed to me as he is lost deep in his thoughts. Goodness knows what he could be day dreaming about at this time of the day . Perhaps about a princess , a fair lady , or even a mistress but whatever it may be I am glad it does not involve me in any way .

One of his royal servants suggest Prince George and I have tea by the garden but I immediately reject because I certainly know that she is only offering to cover her master ‘ s rudeness . Besides it annoys me even more when he suddenly owns the idea and request I have tea with him . If only he knew that it makes me sick to my stomach to just be in his presence .

After I decline to have tea with him , he commands his royal servants to lead me to a room where I am to lay my head and it comes without surprise that the room assigned to me is outside the palace walls . The cottage which is a walking distance from the royal garden is where I will stay and work from . This is the very cottage where my honor and reputation was ruined . They think that this vampire is their biggest threat , little do they know that they just welcomed their worst nightmare .
