Mitchell stepped back, wounding his arm around Samantha's waist as they waited. "Why did you knock like that?" 


Mitchell grinned down at her. "Aren't you just inquisitive?" he teased, his smile growing even wider when she glared. "It's a coded knock." 


"How hard was that?" she asked, retracting her glare. "You still haven't told me where we are and what we're doing here," she added, looking straight ahead. 


"Relax," he muttered with a kiss to her head in an attempt to dissuade her. He straightened in time to hear the door being unlocked from the inside. It swung open, revealing Maya. 


"Hello," she greeted with one of her radiant smiles. "It's nice to see you here again Mr. Adams - I mean Mitchell," she corrected hastily. 


Mitchell chuckled. "Don't worry. It'll take some time to get used to."
