A favor owe.

Time pressed on, with Jessie pink and nervous.

I said nothing more as the cute teen breathed in slowly, admitting to the new experience I had just exposed her to. I was looking ahead to have her wholly to myself at night but my phone rang and a knock interrupted my sequel of the plan.

The caller was Sarah and the person at the door was no other than Boar and his wife, Christiana. I sighed in relief, as I imagined what might have happened if the two parents had caught me in the act, womanizing their innocent daughter.

"Yes?" Jessie responded to the knock as I muted my phone.

The two couples strode in, Christiana had her arm across her chest as Boar Mayer looked at us, silently and deadly, with his hands hidden in pockets.

I wondered what was the issue as Christiana smiled and beckoned for Jessie to get off the bed she had sat back in.

"We have a study room on the third floor," Christiana informed me beckoning for Jessie to get out of the bed to stand near her. It seemed like Boar was the man in need of me as Christiana remained silent for her husband to take over.

The family stood before me, judging my look as Boar cleared his throat and tightened his tie.

"Don't dare think of anything stupid." He grumbled as he took a step nearer, "I want a talk with you before you leave."

It turned out that I was not going to spend the night over, my dream crashed as Christiana nagged her daughter away, leaving me with Boar to choke my confidence.

"August Green, now tell me what you know of Max." We stood at the balcony, the door locked from inside as we viewed the west side of the arbour that danced in awe of cherries.

"He dated my aunt and cousin, I don't know much of him, sir." I kept my voice low as Boar ignored eye contact and asked what I knew of the Oldark Company instead.

I explained everything, exposing Max who had threatened me earlier. I didn't hold back my tongue as I aired out my suspicion over Max who at the moment happened to be talking on the phone at the end of the arbour.

"Thought you should have known I'm the Chairman of Oldark Company," After a couple of silent minutes, Boar exposed himself.

"This has to remain between me and you, if ever you expose this, I promise you death."

I trembled at his tone and speech. Keeping my silence as Boar went ahead, "I've just received news that my life is in danger, and Jessie's life too."

The tide rose around the castle-like mansion, licking the grey walls clean of dust as Boar pulled off his glasses and looked me in the eye coldly.

"You have to marry my daughter and take my place as the Chairman of Oldark Company."

What was going on, I saw him take his phone out and message a number as he told me I had no way out. On this cool evening, I learned how the Mayers had cleared the carcass I had dumped down the wastelands and bribed the police to close the case.

That was nice of them, but I never asked to get married in exchange for the favour.

"What of Max?"

I questioned as a knock resonated.

"You will kill him tonight," Boar was confident in me. He wanted me to put an end to Max's life just like that? I shook violently as my knees knocked, what had life gotten me into?

"please answer the door." Boar stood looking at the west, his back to the door as he bothered me to check who was knocking.

"Ok, sir." I timidly walked across the room as my heartbeat grew louder.

My phone was ringing again, I looked once at the caller ID before pulling the door open for a man dressed in black to step in.

I could feel the cold death spirit hovering around the anonymous man who ignored me and stepped inside the room, walking upright to Boar Mayer who turned round with a smile on his face.

"Welcome Hugh." I heard Boar say as I stood a distance away. I was not going to interrupt them, something about the man had brought in a chilly sensation in the room. Every time I breathed in, I could feel the spirits of the deceased roaming all over my body, choking me.

I was still confused and stranded, Sarah's call in my hand when Boar called me over.

At this moment I was completely obedient and polite as I stood silent with my hands behind my back.

"This is Hugh, my bodyguard. He will help you kill Max tonight."

Sweat dripped down my forehead as swallowed a choking amount of saliva.

"I will pay you one hundred dollars if you succeed." Boar continued, ignoring my pale state as he requested Hugh to take me out.

I was stupid enough to follow the dark mysterious dude into the garage.

"If you fail, I will have to kill you. The chairman won't let a weakling marry his daughter. " Hugh informed me, speaking casually as he wiped his pistol with a handkerchief.

"Hey! Get your ass moving!"

I was deadly stricken from the news, I didn't even realize I had been standing statue for ten minutes if not for Hugh who ordered me to get in the car.

"THAT SONOFABITCH JUST TOOK JESSIE OUT!"

I rushed over, jumping into the passenger seat as High ignited the Maybach and drove off into the late evening.

This was my chance, I golden opportunity to avenge my aunt. I licked my lips as I imagined the reward, one hundred dollars!

Tho I still felt frightened, I knew it was either my life or Max's as Hugh gave me tips on how to kill a bodyguard. He assured me of his help as we arrived at a cliff, far off town.

The West Sea was clear gold in the sunset, this was Jessie's favourite spot, she loved watching the sunset.

"Distract Max, and take Jessie away. I will injure him for you." Hugh pointed at the two bodies oblivious to us.

"Be quick, he will kill Jessie!" Hugh pushed me out of the car as I saw Max unveil a syringe behind his back. He was going to inject Jessie.
