He looked in a specific direction.

Despite Wang Yan's words, Wanda and Vision saw no one, and no one appeared.

"Are you really not coming out?"

Wang Yan created a portal above a house, and a large rock fell, smashing the house.

A figure emerged from the rubble, wrapped in red energy, making their appearance indistinguishable.

The figure's form continuously shifted between elderly, child, young adult, and woman.

Wang Yan remained calm, having sensed this powerful presence upon entering Westview. It became more apparent when the dark magic suppressed him and Vision.

Mephisto looked at Wang Yan with surprise.

Wanda and Vision frowned at Mephisto, feeling a terrifying pressure from him.

Wang Yan sneered, recognizing Mephisto.

Among his many masters, the Ancient One, as the Sorcerer Supreme, was the most renowned. Even Mephisto should have heard of her.

Mephisto's expression grew complex upon hearing the Ancient One's name.

His relationship with the Ancient One could have been better.

As a lord of Hell, he often clashed with the Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme protecting Earth.

On Earth, his power weakened while the Ancient Ones' remained strong, leading to many confrontations in which he was outmatched.

Many of his schemes on Earth had been thwarted by her.

If any demon wished for her death, he would be among them.

"A mage from Kamar-Taj, no wonder you recognized me and are so powerful!"

Mephisto nodded, then said, "But I was just watching the show. Is it fair to attack me now?"

"Oh? Isn't Agatha's behavior due to you? The massive dark power controlling the town, isn't that yours?"

Wang Yan scoffed.

Mephisto didn't respond, knowing any excuse was futile.

Everything was obvious.

Agatha's power wasn't enough to achieve this. His presence in her house made it clear he was behind it.

Mephisto stayed silent.

Wang Yan continued, "Even if you hadn't provoked me, I wouldn't ignore you!"

"Kamar-Taj mages protect Earth and must expel invading demons!"

Mephisto's face darkened.

These Kamar-Taj mages treated Earth as their domain.

Wang Yan stepped out of the Seraphim Shield.

Without a strong defense, he left the magical shield.

"It seems Mephisto isn't so powerful!"

Wang Yan said calmly.

A figure behind him said, "Surrender your soul to me!"

After many battles, Wang Yan's physical and mental strength were unmatched.

Mephisto's soul-stealing power had no effect.

Wang Yan's hand glowed purple, summoning the Sword of Vishanti, and struck backward.

Mephisto's clone split in two, dissolving into pure energy.

Seeing this, Mephisto was shocked.

Though weaker than his proper form, the clone wasn't easily destroyed.

Faced with this, Mephisto considered retreat.

This mage was more potent than he thought. Lesser mages would have succumbed to the clone.

Mephisto's body erupted with red energy, enveloping the area, and he tore open a portal to escape.

He hadn't yet absorbed the Darkhold's power. Earth would fall under his control once he did and took the Chaos Magic.
