3)My first hunt

"There are also some other stat points like crafting speed, inventory space, food meter, oxygen meter, a stamina meter, and water meter which affect your daily Routine. The base stat points for each of the stat is 10 and you are given 10 unallocated stat points. You will gain more unallocated stat points as you level up".

It said the base stat points for each stat is 10 so why is my intelligence at 200? I looked into the description of my knowledge skill again. It said that this knowledge skill also increases your intelligence by 20 times the given value. I was able to make quick decisions while running from the Dilo due to this skill.

I was planning on allocating my stat points but I was hungry and thirsty. I was next to the water so thirst isn't the problem. To get food I have to either eat berries which do not have a big effect and collecting them would make me even more hungrier.

So I chose the only other known option which is to kill a dinosaur and eat its meat. There were a lot of Dodos around the beach but killing them barehandedly wouldn't do anything. Normally in the game, you will gain engrams as you level up which you can use to learn how to craft different things. But there is no tab for learning them meaning we have to build/create anything we need with our knowledge.

I collected some rocks on the ground. I then started hitting a try in the same area with a sharp rock. Eventually, the tree fell down and I gained some wood and thatch. It seems the collecting feature is still on which means I don't have to separate the branches and leaves from the tree part and make it into wood and thatch individually.

I created a long stick out of the remaining wood and made it into a large stick. I put a sharp rock on one side and tied the rock to the stick using thatch.

I heard a voice say " You crafted a makeshift spear the knowledge of creating the makeshift spear will be stored in your brain. It will take 2 intelligence spaces to store it. You can remove it if you don't need it later on but you will never forget a crafting recipe once it has been registered in your brain. Would you like to store the knowledge of crafting makeshift spears in your brain? "

I said yes and after crafting the spear I tried to use it and stab the air so that I can get used to properly using a spear. But knowledge of spear arts just flooded my brain. That's quite convenient so before I starve to death I stabbed a dodo.

The dodo started running from me. Dodos are passive mobs which will run away if attacked, unlike neutral mobs that defend when they are attacked. I put 3 stat points in speed and I started to run at a speed which was a little faster than the speed of Dodo. I kept stabbing it until it died and I gained raw meat and rawhide.

Then I heard a voice say " You levelled up to level 2. You will receive 1 unallocated stat point and a random skill which you will only get when you level up for the first time. My random skill was another unique skill called absorption.

This skill absorbs the damage taken by me and reduces the damage I take by 50 per cent. It can also absorb any type of food or water directly which would give me double the amount of anything I ate. It had a third feature which says??????.

If I eat raw meat it will only fill up my hunger bar by one-tenth and if I eat cooked meat it will fill my hunger bar by one-fifth. If I use this absorption skill to eat the raw meat it will have the same effect as the cooked meat.
