7) Joining a Guild

Amber took me out of the thatched house to show me around the base and it shocked me since I didn't think that people would build a giant base like what I am seeing in a day. There were different sections in the base and all were made of thatch. Amber showed me around the base and it was amazing.

The base had a separate column for healing the wounded. The people in the base were divided into combat class, production class, scouting class, gathering class and support class. The combat class fought dinosaurs with their close combat skills and some even tamed dinosaurs. The support class assisted the combat class by using ranged skills and by buffing the combat class with a temporary boost in stats.

The Scouting class is made up of people who have speed skills and they scout around the base and report any changes around the base. The gathering class will start gathering materials for the base after the scouts have made sure it is safe. They will have 1 or 2 bodyguards with them just in case. The production class will use the resources collected by the gathering class to build structures or create weapons.

After showing me around the base I was called by the leader of the Rising Phoenix guild. The Guildmaster greeted me and said, "Thank you for saving the life of my daughter. Since you are this strong are you in some other guild? If not then why don't you join us? ". I replied, " I don't have any other plans so I will join your guild for now but I want to be able to leave when I want and, wait she is your daughter? ".

The Guildmaster and Amber giggled at my late response and said "Fine then welcome to the team Mr Shadow. You should visit the combat team leader and apply to join there since you helped my daughter I have already made an application for you ". Why do I feel like he knew I would join the guild for sure and applied my application anyways I said " I have something I have to do before joining the combat team ".

The Guildmaster asked " Oh and what might that be" and I replied, " I have my tames in my small base so I need to get them before they get attacked". Both the guild master and Amber were shocked by what I just said. The Guildmaster asked "You tamed a dinosaur? And you did it all by yourself? " and I nodded. "We were only able to tame 3 Triceratops, 5 Parasaurs and 2 Dilos because we had a lot of people corner the dinos and then gave them berries to tame them so how did you do it all by yourself? ".

I replied " I won't reveal that information for now" and The guild master understood that It was due to my skill and didn't ask anymore. He said, " You can call me Kyle, so do you want someone to come with you to pick your dinosaurs with you? ". I accepted the offer and Amber said she will come with me. Kyle didn't want to put his daughter in danger but he couldn't refuse her so he let her come with us.

Amber introduced me to her brother whom I saved before. He bowed his head and thanked me saying " Thank you for saving my life my name is Jake so can I come with you along with my friend to escort you to your dinosaurs". I accepted thinking about what could go wrong but what I didn't realise was that things will go very wrong.
