now it's time to raid the nests of the Quetzals. The remains of players who have been killed by the Quetzals will be collected by the Quetzals to keep as a trophy. The remains of the other players include their armour, weapons and probably other valuable equipment. I went to the nest of the Quetzal which gave orders to the other Quetzals in our previous battle.
Items are ranked from worst to best as common, uncommon, rare, unique and legendary. But no one has ever seen anything have legendary rarity so the highest rarity known to the community is unique rank. The leaders of the top 3 guilds each have a unique rank equipment. The best of the Quetzal was filled with equipment. Getting rare equipment from this stack would be considered as lucky. Or so I thought.
The players who come to the Whispering Peak are either here for sightseeing, committing suicide, hunting or taming a flying Dinosaur. If the Players made it this far then they are probably here to tame or hunt Pteras and Quetzals. So the players were all geared with some good loot. I found a lot of uncommon and common loot. I put them in my inventory so I can use the items to trade.
There were 3 items which caught my interest. A rare rank of Wind boots which increases my movement speed by 30 per cent and had a skill called wind rush which can only be used for a day. This skill increased the agility stat of the user by 200 per cent for 30 mins. A rare rank glove which increases my defence penetration by 20 per cent and a rare rank spatial ring which allowed the user to store 5 items inside.
The spatial ring had a Snake-like design on it. I looked inside the spatial ring to see if there was anything inside and I am very glad I did. There was unique-rank equipment inside. It was called the apocalypse bow. It can cause a random status effect like a burn, frostbite, paralysis, fear, blindness etc., on the target per hit for 20 seconds. If I can hit the target multiple times then they will have multiple status effects on them.
The spatial ring also had a smoke bomb and a Poison bomb. I sorted all the loot and arranged them according to their rarity. I equipped the spatial ring, wind boots and the Rare rank gloves. Since I can't carry all the loot with me I put all the common items and some uncommon items on sale for a reasonable price. I kept some uncommon equipment inside my inventory so I will have something other than blueprints to give on a trade.
I came out of the nest of the Quetzal and saw a couple of people standing outside. I overheard One of them say " Look this is a Quetzal nest so it will probably have some equipment of the dead we should look around". The one standing in the middle said " No our priority should be the bow we have to find that idiot's corpse first". The guy standing in the middle sensed my presence and shot an arrow in my direction.
I dodged the arrow but the arrow exploded behind me and sent me flying in their direction. There were 4 other guys not including the bow guy who was probably their leader. " I was going to ask you something before killing you but that viper-shaped spatial ring is all I need to see" said their leader. Oh, I see why didn't I think of this before? The owner of this ring and these guys are from the Poison Fang.
