Being smacked in the mouth with a hammer was such a shock to the man that it took him a moment to realize what had just happened. He couldn't believe that he had been struck by a seemingly insignificant hammer that he had dismissed.

In that instant, the pain in his teeth paled in comparison to the sheer bewilderment he felt. Then, a searing pain radiated from his teeth and mouth to his brain, causing him to see stars, and he felt utterly dumbfounded.

Damn it! After years of being a thief, it was the first time he had encountered something like this! He had watched the hammer casually, thinking he could easily dodge it, but it inexplicably struck his mouth. He couldn't believe it even if someone told him!
