The public lecture ended after just an hour.

As the public lecture came to a close, it was nearly time for the midday school dismissal.

Students dispersed from the Great Hall, some heading to the cafeteria, others returning to their classrooms.

"Nathalie, everyone's going to that dry pot restaurant outside the school later. Do you want to join us?"

Before Nathalie could respond, a phone call came through.

She glanced down at the caller ID.

Amadeus Yancey.

She silently ended the call and looked up at Freddy Cagwin and the others, "I'm not going."

"I've got something to do later, you guys go ahead."

Freddy Cagwin knew she knew many people and had many things to do, so he nonchalantly covered for her with Shen Jhovany Sullivan and the rest, "Nathalie can't go, she has to go home later."
