Nathalie Quinlan returned to her room, took a bath, changed into a fresh set of clothes, and walked out of the bathroom. She casually draped a dry towel over her hair, ignoring the mischievous strands that dripped water down her temples. With determined brows, she walked to her desk, pulled out the chair, and effortlessly flipped open her laptop, pressing the power button.
Her laptop was very thin, pure black, with no extra decorations on the screen, and the keyboard appeared quite worn, with some of the Pinyin characters rubbed off to the point of being illegible.
But it started up extremely fast.
While most computers, no matter how fast, would take around five to six seconds to boot up, her laptop only took two seconds and did not stall at all.
