Brian Bonette had thought he had already cured Master Cadmus' migraine, only to realize now he was merely wishful thinking.
Nathalie Quinlan didn't pay attention to him. She searched her bag and took out a glass bottle, handed it to Master Cadmus, and said, "Please take this for now, one pill a week. There should be about a three-month supply in there."
"What is this?" Master Cadmus took the glass bottle from her hand, looked at it with confusion, and saw no label or prescription. It was just white pills that looked like sugar pills.
"It's a kind of immunostimulant, not specifically for treating insomnia, but I've tried it, and it can regulate sleep after taking it. The effect is pretty good," she said casually.
Alfred Garland's mouth twitched fiercely as he saw her casually hand out another bottle of small pills.
A bottle!
Once a week, and Ms. Quinlan said there was a three-month supply inside.
