Master Cadmus spoke even faster than she could think of a refusal, "Don't be so quick to reject me. I'm not saying you have to force yourself into biomedical engineering, but you could come by and have a look when you have time. Who knows, you might find it interesting later on...right?"
Faced with such a proposition, Nathalie Quinlan found it hard to decline. To do so would seem impolite. She raised her hand resignedly and said, "I'll try my best."
"Then it's settled," Master Cadmus replied with a smile, a visible sign of his happiness. Just then, the results from the experimental reactor were ready, and he directed a few people nearby to record its data. Once that was done, he made time for Nathalie to perform acupuncture on him.
Acupuncture was quite time-consuming.
Yesterday, it had taken Nathalie over four hours to complete the treatment.
Today went better, taking just over two hours before Master Cadmus finally came around.
