Chapter 58: Battle Results and Shocking Turn of Events

A battlefield filled with various pits and scattered bodies showcases roughly 280 living people tending to their injuries as another 93 gather up the corpses of their fallen and return to their side of the wall. Their injuries had quickly healed under the care of blood potions. Du Lie leads this group as he is completely exhausted from overusing the water domain and killing hundreds of people.

"Let's go" the voice of the Sun Douluo is heard and 2 individuals follow him. These two are Moon Douluo and Xue Tie. They all return to the Throne room where the Sun Douluo sits and asks

"Care to explain how this all arose? Why were spirit halls elders part of the attacking force that they directly replaced the two titled douluos from the Balak Kingdom?"

He questions with a grave tone and his brother Moon Douluo begins to explain how under Xue Ties' actions to begin raiding the Assault teams of Balak Kingdom. All to delay them until the Sun douluo could peacefully elevate their rank.

To this, the Sun douluo nods in understanding. Then news of the spirit hall assisting them through mercenaries was announced and the course taken was to attack them but Moon Douluo defends himself saying he believed only the mercenaries would be targeted and not the spirit hall itself.

"This invoked them and they took center stage to resolve the fight by sending the 2 titled douluos and the army forces of the Balak Kingdom. We did our best to delay the fight until nighttime for my strength to rise further even though I'm not a combat specialist" Moon Douluo states and Sun douluos gaze turns to Xue Tie

"Do you have anything to add on or deny from his words?"

"Hmm, no. Other than your brother has been useless this entire war"

Moon Douluo is shocked and angered by his words and releases his aura upon Xue Tie. Who appears unfazed. He raises an eyebrow and says

"That's it?"

"Any other titled Douluo would have at least tried to smack me. A spirit Saint for acting up against them. But your aura is the only authentic thing about you. I have tested you through all this time and I find you to be a stale fish. Moss growing upon another's thigh. Hoping to get moisture and sunlight while thinking that the cheers emitted for the owner of the thigh belongs to them."

"If the sun douluo did not exist, would you have been able to elevate at all above Spirit Scholar? With how your abilities are arranged. Every spirit beast must have been arranged on silver platters for you to poke to death. An admirable quality….for a weakling"

His every word causes more distress for the Moon Douluo until the Sun douluo raises his hand.

"Enough"

"Your courting death!!!" The moon douluo states but his brother once more proclaims

"Enough" his actions shock his brother who looks like he is on the verge of popping an aneurysm.

"While he has no right to speak of our circumstances. His words are correct. You're truly a salted fish brother."

Moon douluo is in shock but other than his body shaking, he takes no action nor says any words.

"Reveal yourself now while I have patience. When I finished my cultivation, I clearly felt Ghost douluos shock and you armor and trident combo reminds me of a young fellow from 8 years ago from Spirit Hall. Even though we were not there to watch, we heard vivid descriptions. Especially with the economic changes he fostered over the years."

"Xue Tie, twin Martial spirits. Champion of the male side of the young spirit master competition and runner-up of the group competition. Possessor of 3 purple rings back then. A clear indicator of why we would be confused now when they are all black or red." The sun douluo proclaims and Moon douluos panic and confusion rises.

Afterall, someone like Xue Tie was a talent wherever he went but had supposedly died a year ago at which Moon douluo can understand that his death was dated which explains Gui Meis shock. Sun douluo seems to also understand this part and Xue Tie showcases the grand reveal by taking down his spirit bone in front of them. Revealing his handsome, multiple refined skin with clear dark brown eyes and thick dark red hair.

"Correct" he states

Sun douluo nods and says "why have you come here in the first place?"

"Oh I didn't lie back then. At least not much. I truly wanted to establish a base for my new organization here. The only thing I didn't say was it's not a mercenary establishment. I have no need for something like this. It's a proper organization that will be the equal and Greater aspect to Spirit Hall" He reveals and both show an interest in such an organization but with one question stated by Sun Douluo.

"But to accomplish this, we can't be above you" Sun Douluo dreadfully states which brings a sweat to Moon Douluo while Xue Tie simply states.

"Not necessarily, if you two are willing to submit to me then what difference is there than you both being sanctioned holy kings?" 2 pressures are laid upon Xue Tie but even still, his composure does not change.

"You think you can just have 2 titled douluos submit to you so easily? Even if you are gifted beyond your years. You are not enough to challenge us." Sun Douluo responds in anger"

"You seem to misunderstand something. I no longer put regular titled douluos in my eyes, you must reach level 95 or higher to make me feel pressured by you and thus respect you. So yes I am more than enough to challenge you. A martial spirit fusion is indeed a splendid technique but it requires two of you and one is already so weak. Requiring no more than a raise of the hand to take down." He summons his trident and mockingly says. Establishing the real hierarchy here

"As for ghost douluo, I was still holding back during the fight as I was intrigued by your fusion ability, having never seen such a thing before. But also,I didn't want him to die here so I held back to let him go in good confidence as otherwise a limit douluo might have shown himself after me and I don't want that."He continues

"What do you plan to do" The pressure increases further until it's fully unleashed.

"Weeeeellllll" he drags on the word

Minutes later Xue Tie is seen leaving the throne room banner in hand. His presence attracts plenty of attention from all of the soldiers and Xue Tie's members. They grin at the sight of the banner which carries the emblem of Xue Tie's organization. A red teardrop of blood with white wings on it. A sort of ascension of blood as Xue Tie saw it when he created it.

(Honest to god, I only found this about a week or 2 ago, as of posting this chapter and I haven't mentally envisioned any of this just yet. I visualized a few future scenes but not this part)

"I proclaim that the Sun Douluo has been defeated and the Moon Douluo is dead. This land belongs to me and my people now. The rest of you have a choice of surrendering, dying, or converting to my side. I am not one against goodwill and as such I shall show you 3 things." He says while slamming the butt of the flagpole on the ground and with a wave of his hand, he brings out the corpse of the Moon Douluo. Making his claim real as the first display.

He slams the butt of his flagpole twice and roughly three hundred people begin coming out of tunnels and corners from within the castle. They quickly surround the still healing members of the sun moon army.

"Sheng Xixung come forth. Showcase your martial spirit" Xue Tie says and a subordinate comes forth while showing off a green scythe martial spirit. He has 1 purple, yellow, purple purple, purple set of rings. Xue Tie stabs the 2nd ring as Sheng Xixung drinks a potion. All witness the few minute long transformation of yellow to purple. With Xue Tie's control and elevation of strength, he is able to reduce the strain of ring refinement so one potion is enough to get the person through without dying.

"Gaze upon the miracle we can produce, this is possible for all. Talent is no longer born with but forged through. One simply has to have the will to submit now and enjoy glory later." With his speech, more than half the people choose to submit by kneeling while another 40 don't submit and are quickly apprehended. Amongst them is Xian but Xue Tie pays them no mind and has them escorted to the dungeons below.

"From this day forward, the Sun Moon Kingdom shall be henceforth known as "

Chapter 1 has been remade already, but it has affected my tempo a little as it took me nearly twice as long to make this chapter but I can only power through it until I complete all 23.

Wish me luck to fight off the shadow monsters in my head that attempt to lull me into a state of decay and laziness.
