Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

The place Ryo was speaking of was quite a distance from where they currently were. Which to Jun was surprising considering how heavy the number of angels had been this far out. He could only imagine what it would be like as they got closer to Fydos.

So with no other means of transportation, they simply walked side by side in complete silence. Neither of them was good with small talk so it made for a trialing journey.

After what seemed like a  solid hour, Ryo finally broke the longstanding silence.

"Sooo.....watch anything good on tv lately?"

"Um, I didn't even know that cable tv was still a thing right now."

"Oh. It's not. Not sure why I asked, honestly." Ryo said scratching his head.

This guy is strange, thought Jun. In some ways he reminds me of Axel, but in others he seems like something completely out there of his own. Are most freelancers quirky like this?
