I always dreamt of having a beautiful family. A loving husband and cute kids running around in the garden.

I feel that my dream is becoming a reality. The joy I feel from having Nick take care of me and show his affection towards me is unmatched.

This happiness feels borrowed though. I feel that it is temporary  and soon it will come to an end. This feeling leaves me awake at night. I keep wondering how long we have to be like this.

This entire week with Nick felt too good to be true. We went on many dates from visiting cafés to going to art galleries. I feared that every picture we take together will be all I have in the end.

"Why are you awake?" Nick's sleepy voice comes from beside me.

"I'm excited for work in the  morning." That was true. I was very excited to work and not stay at home all day.

"You're not allowed to work too hard."

"I know. I will take it easy for the baby."

"If you feel tired, you tell me instantly."

I nod unable to hold back my smile.

"Let's sleep then."

Nick nods pulling me into his arms. I was getting used to this. It was not a good thing. I know this won't last forever.

The following morning I got ready excitedly. I wanted to make a good first impression so that my co-workers and I could get along.

"You look beautiful."

Nick walks into the bedroom dressed in his suit. I smile when he back hugs me.

I look at my pencil skirt paired with a baby blue blouse. My hair was up today to give off a more professional look. I added a few accessories to finish off the look.

"Thank you." I smile. "You don't look too bad yourself."

He grins lifting a brow. "Are you teasing me?"

"Yes."

He turns me to look at my face.

"I'll let you tease me all you want for a kiss, deal?"

"No deal."

"Mrs Sakurada. Don't be harsh."

I pull him close and kiss him. He embraces me deepening the kiss.

We move away trying to catch my breath.

"We should get going." I squeeze his hand. "Let's go."

"Yeah. Come on baby."

The drive to the company made me nervous. There was no telling what people here would think of me. I was some foreigner who married their soon to be boss and I wasn't even good in Japanese.

"Don't stress yourself too much."

Nick guessed what I was thinking so perfectly.

"What if they think badly of me, I didn't even apply for this job." I couldn't understand why all of these thoughts were suddenly invading my mind.

I wasn't thinking about any of this before but now it looks really bad.

"You actually did."

"What do you mean?"

He smiles. "I had my Secretary apply for the post."

"Really?"

"I didn't interfere with the process. You got the job on your own."

"I find that unbelievable."

"Why?"

He grins holding my hand. "You are a highly educated woman and the marketing team will appreciate you."

"What would I do without you?"

He laughs. "Probably go crazy."

I roll my eyes. "You're so full of yourself."

He laughs again. "I know. It can't be helped."

Shaking my head I look out the window. Tokyo was so Beautiful and had such a vibrant vibe compared to kyoto. I would try my best to make the best of my time here.

"I am going to learn Japanese."

"I can and will help you."

"You were going to be my teacher even if you didn't want to offer yourself."

We arrive at the huge building a few minutes later. I was feeling even more nervous now.

"Nick. Do we walk in together?"

"Yes. I know you feel nervous."

"I don't think that's a good idea. Why don't you head in first?"

"Sammy-"

"Don't you think we should stay professional here?"

He thinks for awhile. "There's only a handful of people that know you and I are married, do you want me to tell them to keep it to themselves?"

I thought for a moment trying to weigh my options. If people knew I was Nick's wife would they treat me special? Is it best if I go in there pretending to be a normal employee?

"I am Samantha Houston here."

"So I guess our marriage will be kept private."

"Yes. I don't want anyone to feel forced to give me any special treatment."

Nick strokes my cheek. "You are so sweet."

"I just want everyone to be comfortable around me."

"Okay. You may go in first then."

I take my work bag and head inside the building. My stomach was filled with butterflies as I didn't know what to expect.

The front desk had 3 secretaries that looked more like models. The woman were pale with dark black hair in neat pony tails.

They had big smiles on their faces greeting everyone they saw. I nervously made my way to them.

"Good morning." I greeted with a small bow. They quickly bow back.

"Good morning." They all said in union.

"Um. I am a new employee for the marketing department."

"Please come with me, I will take you there Miss..."

"Houston."

She smiles. "Miss Houston."

I follow her to the elavator just as Nick walks in with four guys by his side. Everyone bowed to him as he made his way passed them.

"Please, this way."

"Oh right sorry."

I quickly get inside the elavator. I avoid eye contact with Nick so no one would suspect a thing.

"May I know your name?" I ask casually to make conversation.

"Tsuki ma'am."

"Nice to meet you Tsuki. You can call me Sam or Sammy."

"Okay Miss Sam."

We arrive at the marketing department and I feel like I'm about to pass out.

She talks to the male secretary in Japanese and I heard my name. He turns to me and bows.

"Good morning Mrs Sakurada."

My heart drops.

"Please call me Miss Houston instead. Didn't Nick-"

"I just got off with Mr Sakurada right now, I apologize for the mix up." A tall man approached us with an apologetic look on his handsome face.

He bows. "I know you wish to keep the marriage a secret but the news did not reach us till only a few minutes ago."

"It's okay. I just want everyone completely comfortable around me."

He smiles at me before turning to the secretaries and saying something to them. The two nod before bowing to me.

"We promise to keep your marriage confidential."

I thank them feeling slightly awkward. This isn't what I wanted at all.

"I am Mr Daniel Kaze."

I give him a slight bow. "It's a pleasure to meet you sir."

"The pleasure is all mine. Please let me introduce you to the rest of the team."

"Let me warn you, My Japanese speaking skills are non existent."

He laughs.  "It's alright. Halfof the team speaks English fluently, you will be fine."

I smile feeling relieved. "Do I hear an Aussie accent Mr Daniel?"

"Yes. I'm from Sidney." He proudly says.

We enter a huge open plan office area with huge windows. People were busy typing away while others were on the phone.

"I hope I can blend in well." I said to myself nervously.

Mr Kaze overhears this and tells me, "The first few days will be hard but believe me you'll be just fine."

"I'll take your word for it." I said trying to sound positive.
