"If I'd known we'd have to walk all the way here I would have asked your dad for a ride." Cardan said as he took deep breaths as if tired.

Zaden snorted and rolled his eyes at his antics. If he hadn't seen how much energy Cardan still had even after helping out at the construction site, and the fact that he jogs every morning he would have believed that he was actually tired.

"Suck it up plus my dad would have probably played some embrassing song. You're welcome" Zaden responded sarcasticly.

Cardan huffed in what seemed like annyonce and arrogance.

They had to walk to the hall. Which by feet was an hour away. The school bus had broken down before they could even enter it so walking was their only option since Miss Fan's car didn't have enough space.

"We're finally here" Cardan sighed a sigh of relief as he allowed himself to full to the floor.

Another bus arrived soon later although old it was still well maintained. A group of students dressed in black uniform began getting out of the bus.

Based on their attire and the name of their school they where most likely the competition.

Pulling himself up immediately Cardan smirked their way before entering hall, although him and Zaden didn't miss gossip that was going on about them. One being that they were handsome.

At that Cardan's smirk became more prominent, blame it on his family genes.

"Looks like the rest already arrived" Zaden said as he nodded at Marcus who was breathing heavily through a brown plastic bag.

The chubby boy seemed a bit nervous and uncomfortable.

"You okay Mark?" Cardan said as he moved closer the him.

The boy waved him away as if telling him that he was fine"Let's just get this over and done with before I become sicker then I already am" brushing past Cardan he went to take a seat.

Their school had won. It wasn't surprising considering how hard they had trained. The other team wasn't as angery or disappointed because it was a friendly, the real competition would start in a month.

The first would be provincial which was a competition between all teams in the same state and next would be national a competition between top teams in each province and finally international.

They where all waiting for that day of the competition to come.

"So did you learn anything" Ms Fan in her black pant suit her arms folded asked. After all the reason for this competition was to let them have a bit of experience like last time.

"Y-yes, but there's a few questions I'd like to ask" Mia said as she shyly rose her hand. Watching her sister had been awe aspiring she had felt empowered.

Her sister smirked as she pushed her glasses up Cameron caught the way she looked at her sister Mia. He wanted to mess with her a little.

"You weren't half bad four-eyes although next time I'd advise you speak slower you nearly cost us the win" Cameron whispered in her ear.

All Cora could see was red. 'This stupid swine.' She couldn't lose her cool in front of her sister... she'd deal with him later.

Cameron tsked disappointed of her reaction.

"What's up with those two?" Zade asked as he and Cardan began their long way back.

Cardan shrugged "Probably a lover's quarrel" he answered as they continued walking stuck in a comfortable silence.

Cardan continued walking before suddenly stopping when he noticed Zaden wasn't in next to him anymore.

"Why'd you st- I see" Cardan sighed as he noticed a group of boys blocking his way but not any boys but Austin's goons.

"Look what the cat dragged in" speak of the devil and he shall appear. It was Austin who now had black hair.

Cardan looked at him for a while "I never got the chance to tell you-"

"Tell me what?" Austin smirked playfully. He was expecting Cardan to suck up to him so that he couldn't get beaten up.

"I like your new hair colour. It brings out your eyes" Zaden smirked at Cardan's answer nearly laughing.

Austin sneered at him in horror and disgust. "To think someone with no name to his word would speak to me like that. I was going to ask you about that stuttering weirdo but you pissed me off so, boys get em both" Austin said as he walked past both of them not missing Zaden's glare at him.

Austin frowned "Give Zaden two black eyes two I don't like how he's looking at me."

As soon as Austin was out of site Zaden threw his bag on the ground and threw a kick at the boys prepared to strike at Cardan.

Groans of pain where heard and before they knew it they where all down with bruises and broken bones. Cardan didn't even have to left a finger.

Cardan took out a water bottle from his bag and give it to Zaden leisurely so. Zaden took it gratefully as Cardan handed him his bag.

They continued their work as if nothing happened. Living groans behind.

"So we going to the grocery store?" Zaden asked.

"No today we're going to Boss Dai's restaurant. It's about time we finalize the menu." Cardan answered.

Zaden nodded in thought "I heard that Remy and you are incharge of creating a website for it."

"Yeah Easton couldn't be bothered unless it has to do with finance. At this point he might as well end up becoming a wolf in wall Street"

"Like the movie"

"Yeah, but legal..."
