Peace was never an option it seems. So far there have been multiple attempts by the Thanagarians to infiltrate our labs both digitally and physically. Thanks too Cortona the digital attempts were easily stopped. As for the physical attempts of infiltration both direct and indirect were thwarted by Mechanika and M'shen respectively. Shield has couldn't help as stated before because they were getting ready for a global invasion. I didn't really know anyone from Sword but I imagine that their answer would have been much the same.

As for Peggy Carter she was with Helen Cho, Sarah Kinney, Francine and Kirk Langstrom they were trying to recreate gene seeds. They were making good progress nothing substantial or something that can be used in the immediate future but it was progress. I don't believe that they will be able recreate the super soldier serum which was fine since that wasn't even the goal. The data that we have right now will help us determine if using Peggy as a base template was even possible for the gene seed plan. As for the seeds themselves they were still only theoretical at this point.

On a personal level Peggy hasn't tried to get in contact with Shield or Steve Rogers she hasn't said why and I haven't pressed her for answers. She wasn't hiding nor was she announcing her situation so I was pretty certain that Shield possibly knew about her especially considering Natasha was part of my harem even if I knew that was part of Fury's plan.

Bruce Wayne has been stopping by more often lately under the guise of trying to flirt with Miranda Lawson while pretending to be under the guise of business. In reality he was here to spy on what exactly was going on within Black technology as he couldn't predict or control me while I was operating in his domain. Whenever he spotted me he made a point to play friendly billionaire while asking probing question disguised a genuine interest. He even tried to invite himself on the tour I had given Tony Stark I could never call him out on his bullshit as it was too calculated to appear spontaneous and friendly to appear suspicious.

I decided to take some time off before the inevitable war breaks out between earth and the Thanagarian empire to go visit Emma Frost. Due to various issues that required my attention I have begun to neglect my personal life and the people I am involved with. For instance Jean Grey outside of helping me with traveler project and our sessions regarding the Phoenix force we barely interact anymore. Which is why I planned to bring her with me when I go to visit Emma's school as I am sure she misses that type of environment. I also planned to bring Medusa, Sue Storm, Poison Ivy, Harley and Selene. Medusa because I haven't made a lot of progress same with Sue as they were more concerned about their paramours. Ivy and Harley were coming because of their soft spots for children. As for Selene it was because her granddaughter should be at Emma's school if I was remembering correctly.

When we arrived I saw a lot teens gawking as Emma and her staff came to greet us. I also noticed more than a few angry stares from both the male staff and teens and seeing Emma's glowing smile it was easy to understand why.

Emma: Julian! I'm so pleased to hear that you cleared your schedule just to meet me

"Of course I would, I know that you like strong ambitious men but the road is long and I have grown weary without you by my side. So I put everything on hold to see you and your school to relax and get to know you better"

Emma: Ever the charmer I see...

I knew that I should have seen this coming a blind man having never met either of them would have. Worse still I knew about how they got along from the various comics about this exact topic and from the few times I have seen them together in my own home. So why did I think it would be a good idea to place the two of them together and call it a vacation? I would rather the conflict with the Thanagarians to start today than deal with this the entire time. It was then that I saw Laura and the army of blondes behind her. Thinking back on this I realized that the decision to come was mine, I chose this it's all on me I have no else to blame.
