The X-men left shortly after our talk although not much was said we also immediately got Irene something to shield her mind. We didn't need Charles thinking he knew best and deciding to look into Destiny's mind. Nightcrawler and Rouge hadn't returned or responded to any calls from the X-men it was clear they were still dealing with the flood of information.

Jean seemed stoic watching the X-jet take off and after it was out of sight relieved. It wasn't surprising considering Scott's outburst but it does show that any remaining attachment Jean had with the X-men was beginning to fade.

Emma: I take it you were kicked out?

Jean: Oh just stuff up your ass cunt! I wasn't kicked out, I left them!

I decided it was in my best interest to quietly leave them to their fight and make myself scarce. Hopefully they won't try to turn the other into vegetables by mind raping each other with their powers. I decided it probably best to find a excuse to be anywhere else which is why I decided to make good on my promise to get Sarah Kinney here for her daughter. The call didn't take long so I had plenty of time on my hands after, so I decided decided to just wander around. I noticed some of the kids here looking over at me trying to be subtle it was clear they gossiping about me. I was about to go over to a busty pink hair girl with three eyes as she seemed to blush looking at me but before I could the earth moved. It wasn't in the romantic sense but the earth literally moved at first I assumed it was Avalanche but I was quickly proven wrong. A very shapely pile of lava approached me clearly looking for answers.

Magma: Who are you and is Selene so docile with you!?

Selene: He is your new grandfather and possibly your future husband as for why I seem to just go along with whatever he wants it's because he granted my deepest wish

Selene: This is my granddaughter Amara, and if you are interested I'm certain that I could have her join you in your bedroom but I won't join you unless you insist I must

Selene: She doesn't suffer from any maladies, she is having a disconnect due to philosophical understanding of relationships

Magma eventually couldn't handle the embarrassing conversation anymore and ran away. As for Selene and I, we decided to get something to eat and then figure out where would have us staying.

Ra POV (Summit of the gods)

Things were difficult to say the least first Julian avoided joining any existing pantheons which was a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it didn't tip the balance of power and curse because it didn't tip the balance of power in my favor. Then there was the recent invasion from Apokolips the gods were able to justify their intervention as foreign gods were involved. Unfortunately due to the same justification they couldn't involve themselves in mortal affairs which is why they remained quiet during the Thanagarian invasion. We were pondering our options on how we were going to deal with this situation although secretly most of us were more focused on how we were going to recruit Julian.

Thoth: My Pharoah apparently a "peace delegation" will arrive to mediate talks between earth and the Thanagarian empire

"Interesting who exactly are these mediators?

Thoth: They are called the Guardians of the Galaxy they are fairly well known even before the convergence as the humans call it.

"So they are expert negotiators?"

Thoth: More like heroic mercenaries than negotiators this seems particularly outside their usual operations but they have been hired by Shi'ar empire and they are very respectable so surely they should at the very least professional
