Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Kurai glanced toward the woman, itching to do something to ensure that she wouldn't be a threat, but her dejected expression made him pause as she lifted a simple golden pendant from her neck to look at it for a moment with a vague expression of nostalgia before her expression hardened and she ripped it off.

Tossing it in the sand a few meters away from them, she turned to face them with a look of hardened resolve, "My sisters won't forgive me for my actions. I am sure they have already figured out what I had done since the guardians of that room are my creations and they wouldn't set anyone free without my permission even if someone did solve the puzzle."

Kurai glanced at Satoru, who had a frown on his face that revealed that he also wasn't very certain about what to do next.

There were some questions that they still needed answers to though, so Kurai decided to start with that before they made their decision on whether she would stay in their party or not.
