A Demon Hunt

Olivia smiles: her heart is fluttering.

A world of possibilities and a future of happiness awaits her.

She's going to be a wife…

She then goes and takes a shower before changing into some clothes and teleporting in front of Wanda's home.

Wanda is in the middle of getting ready for dinner as the teleportation happens.

She looks up and jumps a little, surprised by the sound of teleportation.

"Hello? Who's there?" She calls out as she grabs her staff, moving it defensively in between her and whatever is there.

She's on the guard as she looks around the room, a bit flustered by the sudden appearance.

"Don't be alarmed Wanda it's me Olivia."

Wanda jumps back a little as she recognizes the voice, and her expression quickly changes.

"Oh thank God, it's you." She says, letting out a sigh of relief as she lowers the staff.

Her eyes brighten slightly after seeing Olivia, a big smile on her face. Her eyes are still wide, but they're a bit brighter now.

"What are you doing here?" She asks, a little curious as a look of happiness and curiosity spread across her face. As if she already has an idea what this may be about.

Olivia smiles brightly unable to contain her excitement.

"I'm engaged!! I'm going to get married!"

Wanda's surprised at the news, and it shows. She smiles brightly, her face lights up at the news. She can't help but feel happy for her friend as she walks over to her.

"You're engaged?" She asks, her eyes filled with joy.

"That's wonderful news! Who's the lucky person?" She asks, excitedly. Her attention diverted by the ring Olivia is wearing, but the smile is still real.

"Loki." Olivia responds with her hand extended showing her the ring noticing her attention to it.

"Loki." Wanda says softly, her smile growing larger at the news.

"Well congratulations!" She says, genuinely happy at the news as the smile on her face grows even larger.

Wanda looks at the ring, and it's a magnificent ring. She gets closer to see it up close.

"He certainly has good taste in rings. That is quite a beautiful ring."

It's clear Wanda is happy for her friend, that she's excited and happy that she's now engaged. Her smile is bright and genuine, and her eyes seem to sparkle with the news.

Olivia continues to smile her face burning red.

"I came here to extend a personal invitation to our wedding. I would love for you to be a part of it."

Wanda laughs a little at that, her smile growing even larger.

"Well, of course I will be there. I can't think of a happier occasion than to celebrate the wedding of a friend." She says, her smile is still genuine and now it seems even warmer.

Her excitement and her happiness seem to radiate off her as she's so obviously thrilled for her friend.

"When is the date?"

"In 2 weeks." Olivia says before her expression turns more serious.

"Can you do something for me in that window of time?"

"Of course, I'd be happy to." Wanda says with a kind smile.

"What is it that you need me to do?" She asks, her face brightening back up when she realizes the request is serious and doesn't seem to be bad.

She seems to be a little more focused now that she knows it's something important and there is work to be done. Her ears perk a little from curiosity.

"Whatever you need, you just tell me, and I'll do everything I can." She says, showing genuine kindness and sincerity.

"Me and Loki visited an elderly demon by the name of Hilda. She attacked and took possession of Loki. I need you to find any and all information on her and about her whereabouts and routine. Find her weakness." Olivia says sternly.

"I want to kill that bitch for hurting him."

"Oh, I will find out every damn thing about that demon!" Wanda says vehemently.

"Anything that harms a friend of mine does not get to live!" She says as she gets up in anger.

Her eyes are ablaze as anger builds inside of her for this Hilda as she clenches a fist to her side.

"That demon will not have a happy ending."

Olivia nods as she summons the Book of the Damned with a snap of her fingers before handing it to Wanda.

"She knows about this book and that I have it. Keep it with you and keep it safe."

Wanda nods with a determined expression as she takes the book.

"I'll protect this with my life, my friend. You can be certain of that."

There's no sense of doubt or hesitation in her voice, it's just cold, hard determination.

"That demon should already consider her time near an end."

Olivia smiles at Wanda's determination.

"Be careful… This demon is powerful and strong. She will not hesitate to kill if need be."

"She should know that I also won't hesitate to kill if needed."

The way she's standing, how she's holding her staff, and the cold way she says her words, is nothing if not a little frightening. She seems to mean every word she says.

"Your demon won't have a chance, I promise." She says, a small smile coming to the corner of her mouth.

Olivia smiles and nods.

"I will hold you to it."

She hugs Wanda tightly.

"I will see you at the weeding in two weeks."

Wanda hugs her friend back before letting her go and looking at her seriously.

"You'll know that demon is dead before then." She says with a slight smirk.

Her eyes give an impression of pure cold bloodlust and menace. She doesn't seem to be making an empty threat.

Wanda nods once more.

"I'll see you then. Stay safe." She says as she turns and walks towards the door. Once the door is behind her, she turns and teleports away.

And thus, the hunt for the demon begins.

Olivia nods before teleporting back to Loki's room to see Loki there.

Loki is sitting at his desk in the room they share, looking over some plans for the wedding. He looks up as she teleports, and his smile only grows at the sight of her.

"Welcome back, my love." He says, still smiling brightly as he makes his way over to her to give her a hug.

He then lets her go and is just happy.

He's engaged.

There's nothing more to it than that…

In this moment, he's truly happy.

Olivia smiles brightly as she hugs him before stepping back, looking at the papers.

"Are those our wedding plans?" She asks pointing to the papers.

"They are. Do you see anything you want changed?" He asks, looking over to the table at the plans the wedding planner made for their day, a soft smile on his face.

He's excited.

He's got the love of the most beautiful woman in the world next to him, and the plans to their special day are right next to them. There's not much more he could be happy about than right here, right now. It's perfect, at least for now.

She shakes her head, looking over the plans.

"No everything I want is there...It's perfect."

Olivia looks up at him with love in her eyes.

"What is your opinion on it?"

"You think it's perfect," He says, smiling softly and lovingly back at her.

"Then that is all that matters."

His eyes never leave her face as he speaks.

"But since you asked what I thought...I think it's perfect too. It can't get any better."

He looks more...contented than he has been in a long time. It's like a weight has been lifted from him.

She smiles more as she cups his face with love and desire.

"I'm glad you think it's perfect."

A soft smile spreads on Loki's face as she does, and he leans forward slightly and kisses her.

Just a simple, sweet kiss. Nothing extreme or overly complex. Just two lovers sharing something sweet between them.

He pulls away a little and just smiles.

"It's...it's so beautiful." He says, looking into her eyes.

"I never thought something so perfect was possible."

The genuine gratitude and love in his voice is clear to hear.

"You're perfect, my love. And this...this is perfect." He says, still looking into her eyes as he speaks.

She blushes as her skin flushes.

"I never felt more happier in my life than with you. My goals....my life accomplishments could not compare to you..."

Loki's smile grows wider at her words. If it's possible, he seems to be filled with a bit more happiness and love.

If he hasn't already thought what she's said was possible, it's clear he's at least feeling it now.

"It's...it's true for me too. I have never met anyone else who...who makes me feel happier than you do. It's...it's like everything suddenly makes sense. You truly are my everything."

She continues to stare into his eyes before leaning in and kissing him once more this time with more desire and hunger.

He kisses her back with equal amounts of love and passion, pulling her closer into the kiss, pressing his lips to hers and holding the kiss for several long moments as they share the intimacy.

Only for it to eventually come to an end as they both finally need to breathe.

He's smiling, still filled with the love and the passion of the moment.

"I love you. More than anything." He says, still looking into her eyes, his smile still as warm and as bright as before.

"I love you too." Olivia breathes as she starts to unbutton her blouse.

"Come... Devour me Loki..." She says seductively.
