Here Comes the Bride

Olivia holds her hand tightly as they walk out of the dressing room, down the hallway to two large doors.

The wedding music begins to play as the door opens and everyone rises as they slowly start to walk down the aisle toward the altar.

Wanda moves as though she's walking on clouds, as though she's gliding.

The happiness, joy, the light that seems to radiate from her every being is so bright and powerful.

It's a brightness that seems to transcend the very room itself as though it is the embodiment of happiness, of light, of love.

She's smiling still, her face filled with warmth and her eyes shine like the brightest star in all of the universes.

At the alter Loki stands his eyes wide as a tear sheds down his cheek, seeing his love in her astonishing dress walk toward him.

He is stunned by the amazing and astounding beauty that is before him. It appears the whole world has paused as he looks at his goddess.

He's filled with love, with pure unadulterated love...

A love that cannot be equaled by anything else.

This was the moment he had always dreamed of, for he is blessed with a wife of true beauty, a wife who is more than a goddess.

Who is more than all the stars in the sky.

She is his universe…

As Wanda and Olivia continue to walk to the alter all the kings, queens, and princess look on with astonishment and respect.

One prince in particular, Prince Balder is completely bewitched by Olivia.

His mouth is slightly parted as his heart beats fast. This almost feels like love at first sight for him.

He can't help but take several deep sighs to calm himself down. She is the most beautiful goddess he has ever laid eyes on…

As Loki watches his goddess walk, the very floor seems to bow underneath her. It's as though the very earth itself is bowing before her beauty.

He smiles. He's never seen anything quite like it. He's seen so many beautiful things, but this...it's just different.

It's pure perfection…

He can feel his heart melting within him. He's in complete and utter bliss.

Olivia and Wanda make it to the altar as Wanda lets go of her hand and goes to her seat.

Olivia walks up the steps as the music dies down and Loki turns to face her.

As Olivia joins him, looking absolutely radiant in her gorgeous dress, the light in the church seems to focus, and that focus is her beauty.

Her eyes sparkle, her skin radiates a softness, a kindness, a happiness, and a warmth.

It's as though the light and the universe itself is celebrating, coming together to celebrate with them.

He's never seen anything quite like it.

"You look beautiful, my love, more beautiful than the sun and the stars."

His voice is soft and loving, filled with warmth and genuine love.

"And you look handsome, my love." She says softly.

His eyes are so filled with love. He can't help but smile.

No one has ever given him this much joy, this much happiness in his life.

He pulls a rose from his suit and offers it to her.

"My love...will you accept this rose...as a token of my love...as a token of my devotion...as a token of a lifetime...my lifetime of love and devotion to you?"

Olivia's eyes soften as she slowly takes the rose into her hand, holding it carefully while studying it before nodding.

"Yes, I will gladly accept this rose my love." She says with a bright smile.

Loki's smile brightens.

"I love you, my goddess. I love you more than anyone...more than anything. I love you more than the very sun and stars. My love for you is limitless, just as you are limitless..." He says his voice is filled with genuine love.

His eyes shine bright, looking upon her with such reverence and veneration.

He smiles softly as she looks into his eyes lovingly, her eyes shining in return with her own love for him as well.

Olivia smiles as the preacher begins.

"Dearly beloved and Honored guests, we are gathered together here to join Loki Laufeyson and Olivia Blackwood in the spiritual union of marriage."

Loki's heart swells with emotions he can't even begin to describe, but all those feelings can be boiled down to one singular feeling.

Love…

"This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home."

Loki couldn't agree with the preacher more.

Love, loyalty, and understanding are the very foundations of a marriage. They are the very foundation of any relationship.

As the preacher speaks, so too does Loki's heart.

He's so filled with happiness, love, and pure, unadulterated joy, his heart could just burst.

The preacher then looks at Loki.

"Do you Loki Laufeyson take this woman Olivia Blackwood to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?"

Loki smiles, he nods and looks at Olivia.

He speaks with purpose, with confidence, with passion for his love as he speaks once more his vow, the promise of a life lived together.

"I, Loki Laufeyson, do take you, Olivia Blackwood to be my lawfully wedded wife, I pledge myself to you in a life of love, honor, and trust, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad for as long as we shall both live." He says, smiling at his wife as he speaks.

The preacher nods then turns to Olivia.

"Do you Olivia Blackwood take this man Loki Laufeyson to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?"

She's never experienced a moment as perfect as this one right here, right now. She's filled with happiness, joy, and love.

Olivia smiles fondly at Loki, then looks at the preacher as she answers honestly.

"Yes, I do." She says in response, her own vow, her true promise, her own promise of love and devotion to Loki.

Her one true love…

The preacher nods before continuing.

"Loki Laufeyson and Olivia Blackwood will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment."

As the preacher speaks, Loki reaches into his pocket and takes out a beautiful, delicate golden ring. He smiles as he looks at it.

It is made of pure gold, and a beautiful gemstone sits at its center.

Odin's eye shines through it.

It is beautiful and perfect...just as his love is.

His eyes shine bright with love as he looks at Olivia. The happiness in his voice is evident.

"I, Loki, as a promise of my eternal love and devotion to you give you this ring as a symbol of our vows. I will always love you, protect you, and help you grow into the wonderful, beautiful goddess I know that you are. Take this ring and wear it with pride as I claim you permanently as my wife."

Olivia's eyes begin to water as he speaks.

She is speechless at this point. All she can do is smile and look at the man she is going to call her husband.

His eyes are full of the love and light that he feels for her...that he's always felt for her.

He places the ring on her finger, his hand shaking with his emotions as he speaks. His voice trembles with pure happiness.

As Loki finishes speaking the ring bearer comes and kneels before Olivia with Loki's ring.

It is a black wedding band that is engraved with gold and green writing that reads "Forever my love."

Olivia takes the ring.

"I, Olivia, present you with this ring as a symbol of our everlasting love, our bond, and promise we have made to one another. Because of you Loki, I am the women I am today. You are my inspiration, my drive, my passion, and my desire. Wear this ring with confidence and pride as I claim you as mine for the rest of my life."

She finishes speaking and puts the ring on Loki's finger.

Loki looks at the ring, then at her. He's filled with love and joy and it's obvious with his expression as he looks at her, the glow of that love still in his eyes.

He smiles with tears forming in the corners of his eyes. As she speaks, his heart swells, the light seems to grow stronger in his eyes as he holds her hands.

He's holding them as if they are a treasure beyond anything in the universe because she is to him.

She is the treasure; she is his treasure...his true treasure in all of the realms.

The preacher smiles then speaks.

"By the authority vested in me and the realm of Asgard, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Loki's joy is immeasurable as he looks her deeply in the eyes.

This is his goddess…

His universe…

He kisses her deeply.

A kiss to express his love, a kiss for a lifetime, a kiss that cannot be conveyed with words.

Olivia kisses him back with the same intensity as the crowd erupts in applause and cheers from their kiss.

It is now official...

They are husband and wife.
