"Are you sure you're okay? You've been unusually quiet for a long time." Mary probed, eyeing Ellie with concern.
The latter had not said more than twenty words for hours since she arrived in the room, and it became a major source of concern for her, and Ginger, who was in the room with them.
"I'm alright," Ellie assured, turning to flash Mary a smile. "I just have a burden in my heart that I cannot share."
"Why can't you share?" Ginger asked this time, also quite uncomfortable by the strange silence.
"Because I am still trying to comprehend the problem. When my brain fully understands what is going on, I may be able to share." Ellie answered and smiled at Ginger before returning her attention to Mary.
"But there is a way you can help me ease my stress if you want." She added, coming up with a way to divert her attention from the turmoil in her heart, and to also ease the worry of the girls.
