Jealousy, Jealousy

EMERY

The transition back to university life after a week's holiday is going relatively smoothly for me. Adjusting to the routine of work and classes is not a shocking experience, as my holiday has been a mixture of relaxation and research.

Throughout the seven days, I focused on the last exhibition and the inventors who graciously shared their ideas via email. I compiled a comprehensive dossier detailing all the intriguing facets of their inventions that might enrich my own perspective.

The process of sifting through different points of view to refine my own was incredibly captivating. It's a satisfying exercise, eliminating the unnecessary and concentrating on the truly valuable.

As I pull into the college car park, my expectations are measured. I don't anticipate much, if anything at all. Well, maybe that's not entirely true. Biochemistry isn't the only area that occupies my thoughts.
