Unexpected Visit

ARWAN

I lay on my bed, the soft glow of the TV screen casting a flickering light across the room. The action film playing is one I've seen countless times before, but it offers a familiar distraction from the tumult of my thoughts. Despite the explosions and car chases, I'm still haunted by the memories of those three days, the scars on my body a constant reminder of the darkness I've faced.

Loneliness settles over me, a heavy weight that I can't shake off. It's not a physical solitude but an emotional one. Even though I'm surrounded by people—my family, my friends—I feel like I'm trapped in my own world, unable to bridge the gap between us. I've built walls around myself, walls that keep everyone out, including those who care about me the most.
