Theodor's words echoed in Yohana's mind as she walked alongside Henrie and Fabian. They had been invited by Fabian to a harvest festival in the town square.

Empress Viktoria's suggestion had been to allow the foreign diplomats to witness the joyful side of Greifswaldia. Their arrival had been centered around war-related and political matters, and the empress believed that the festival would offer them a glimpse of another facet of the empire.

Lost in her thoughts, Yohana barely noticed as Fabian playfully nudged her, bringing her back to the present.

"What's been occupying your thoughts so intensely?" he inquired. "Are you still upset with Mother, or perhaps it's me you're angry with for keeping that secret from you?"

A Bracelet
