Lady Runa extended an invitation for Gilles to join Ancient Humans, believing that his presence would invigorate other members and advance their collective objectives. Without much hesitation, Gilles accepted her offer.

Thus, he proudly bore the symbol of Ancient Humans on his forehead as proof of his membership in the organization.

From that point on, Gilles dedicated more of his time and effort to working with Ancient Humans than with The Black Rose Society.

However, there came a time when Lady Runa relocated to another hidden refuge, and they lost contact. Gilles grew anxious, concerned about her well-being. As he awaited news from her, he remained dedicated to his ongoing tasks.
