The Dungeon and the Hidden Chamber

Now that she knew her brother had gone to war for Lady Runa, Elisa couldn't remain idle. She had to find out where Lady Runa was and confirm her suspicions.

Elisa lacked the courage, but her fear for Lady Runa and her brother pushed her to action.

If Lady Runa was indeed captured by Eleanor, Henrie's war would be a big, messy misunderstanding.

Elisa lurked in the corridor for hours until sunrise. Eleanor was nowhere to be seen, and Elisa couldn't be sure if she remained in her chamber or hadn't returned at all.

If Elisa wanted to infiltrate Eleanor's secret chamber, she had to be well-prepared, better than the last time.

The memory of that day sent shivers down her skin; she couldn't afford to get caught again, fearing what Eleanor might do to her.

Rika was not used to serving someone. She did not know the tricks one could do to avoid detection. Elisa took that to her advantage.
