I’ve Missed You

Henrie hastily abandoned the chaotic parlor and sprinted outdoors, his every footfall driven by the promise of Runa's awakening. Thea, slightly breathless from her sprint to relay the news, trailed closely behind him.

During Runa's unconsciousness, Thea had become an almost constant presence in Henrie's chamber, ever-watchful and ready to step in for him when duty called him away.

Now, with Runa rousing from her slumber, Henrie's chest heaved with a mixture of physical exertion and exhilaration.

The rhythm of his heart, seemingly as thunderous as the galloping hooves of a charging cavalry, resonated in his ears, bearing witness to the hope and anticipation of reuniting with Runa and hearing her voice once more.
