Yohana widened her eyes, looking straight at Thea's watery eyes. "Why would she hate you? After everything you did for her?"

Thea's lips trembled, and she had to bite the lower part to stop the shaking. "Perhaps I saw myself too highly when Lady Runa had never considered me anything more than a maid."

"Don't be ridiculous! You were the only one by her side when she went through the worst in her life. Because of you, she never felt lonely. Because you were there for her. Because you would embrace her when she was at her lowest."

Yohana tightened her grip on Thea's hand. Her tears flew down, and she hid her face in the curtain of her silver hair so no one would see her crying.

"You're not nothing, Thea. You would never be nothing…"
