Princess Assassin

Fabian's statement crushed Yohana's heart. She didn't think, and she would never intend to hurt Fabian. Resting her head on Fabian's head, she closed her eyes.

"Forgive me for saying those things. I tried not to think that way, but it was difficult. I know how things are with Thea after Runa left. The last time I met her, a dark layer still veiled her face. She wasn't as cheerful as she used to be. I couldn't help but think that it was my fault."

There was silence afterward. Perhaps Fabian was trying to process the information and accept how Yohana felt the way she felt.

She set aside the paperwork and her duties to propose the joint business with Princess Elke and helped Fabian with organizing the celebration party.

As expected, budgets were an essential part of organizing an event. Yohana could create a lavish party with the funds Fabian had allocated. However, Yohana had learned how top merchants behaved toward those who didn't have money.
