Princess Assassin

Celeste meant to use the past tense, but that would be a lie because even at this moment, her heart still burned for the dazzling man in front of her. She clenched her skirt and said, "But I will bury that feeling. I will bury it so deep that I wouldn't even know it ever existed."

She held her head high, and she was proud of herself for her immense courage. The old Celeste would not be able to do this. She would cower and turn around at the slightest hint of rejection.
