"Lady Gabrielle, you should think more carefully. Her fame will be short-lived. Someone who snatched another woman's man won't get the luxury of love. Once His Highness is bored with her, he will leave her, and she will have nothing but her tainted reputation," added Lady Caroline.

"We don't know that, and we don't know the full picture of Lady Yohana's life. Do not spout gossip as if it is the truth. Words can hurt."

Yohana was amazed by how hard Lady Gabrielle defended her. Lady Caroline was the first person who was openly hostile toward Yohana, but she wasn't the only one. A few numbers of ladies also showed displeasure with Yohana's presence.

"You don't have to risk your position in the social circle by inviting me, Lady Gabrielle. I can go home now and let you have a peaceful party," Yohana suggested.
