Ultimate Enemy

Yohana took several breaths. Her heart beat furiously. She felt like she could faint at any moment. Squeezing Henrie's hand, she reminded herself that she was safe and that nothing would happen to her or her friends and loved ones now that Ansgar was in jail.

The nearer she was to where Ansgar was kept, the more her anxiety and fear stormed within her. She was palpitating, and her legs and arms were shaking. 

"Yohana, are you sure about this? You can write down your questions, and I will relay them. I'll make sure that he answers so you won't be left in the dark," Henrie offered, kissing Yohana's hand to calm her down. 

She shook her head, one hand supporting herself on the wall. "No. I need to do this myself, Henrie. I want to see what kind of face he'll have on." Yohana's voice was firm even though it was shaky. 

"But you're not ready. I'm worried, Yohana." Henrie didn't have to say it for Yohana to know. A deep concern layered Henrie's handsome face.
