A Sniffing Rat

When Ansgar decided to run away from the palace, hiding his identity as the former prince, he took with him several of his most loyal knights to protect him. These knights had high morale, and their loyalty couldn't be bought.

While Ancient Humans had been Ansgar's by far most effective pawns, their unpredictable behavior was dangerous. He could only trust them to some extent. Entrusting these people with tasks was one thing, but entrusting his life to their hands was a totally different matter.

These knights would move in the shadow and under the striking sun when they needed to. They could disguise themselves as knights serving noble houses or they could pretend to be low-status nobles themselves because they technically were.
