Princess Assassin

Yohana's chest moved up and down as she struggled to contain the storm of emotions within her. The fear she felt when she was running away from the clutch of the royal knights, and the notes suddenly appeared, adding tension to the whole situation.

Yohana couldn't think straight now. Her emotions--rage, frustration, and sadness collided and overwhelmed her. She groaned and screamed loudly. Tears flew freely to her face as she banged the bars of the prison.

Biting her lower lip, Yohana glared at the source of her pain and turned around. She stomped her feet on the ground as she left the prison, wiping the tears from her face.

She couldn't stop sobbing, and at one point, her legs grew weak. There was no more strength left in her to keep standing. She leaned on the wall and slowly descended to a curl on the ground.
