Princess Assassin

Being on a long journey together, Fabian was presented with dozens of opportunities to approach Lady Celeste, but he lacked the experience. Every time he tried to make advances, it just turned out awkward.

It felt more like a friendship than something more. Before Fabian could do anything to bring their relationship to the next level, he received a message from Reichwein.

The sender was Henrie. He informed him of the situation in Reichwein. Shocked, Fabian jolted from his seat, surprising everyone at the dining table.

"Did something happen, Your Grace?" Lady Celeste asked politely, tapping her mouth with the napkin.

They had just finished dinner together when the knight relayed the message. Fabian gritted his teeth but he tried not to show his real emotions in front of Duchess Rosalind and Lady Celeste. He intended to force a smile but couldn't. "There were explosions in Grossfeld, My Lady."

"What?" Duchess Rosalind exclaimed.
