Princess Assassin

She was gorgeous. That was Ernest's first thought when he saw her after overcoming his shock. Ernest had always been soft-hearted, and he would avoid aggression when it was possible. Due to this, he couldn't send that lady off harshly.

Ernest had a guess that this young lady must be sent by his father to fetch him back into the ball. Even though he was the second son, and Hubert was practically the only one who mattered in the family, Ernest still played a huge role. He was smart and quick-witted. He was also empathetic, making him people's favorite conversationalist.

His father didn't care about Ernest's hate of the vanity that the attendees of the ball showed. His father only cared about how useful Ernest was to the Zamek family and Hubert's name.

This wasn't the first time Ernest escaped social gatherings, and it definitely wasn't the first time Castellan Stanislaus sent some people to drag him back to the venue.
