Am I Not Famous?

That name was familiar but it didn't ring a bell immediately. Ernest squinted as he searched his memory, dying to know where he had heard that name. He lifted his chin to see the young lady's face. Nothing came to mind.

The young lady seemed to notice Ernest's struggle. She rested her cheek on her palm and pouted.

"I didn't think people would forget about me that soon. I have only disappeared for what–a few short months, and I returned to the palace! Did you not read it in the newspaper? I thought it made the headlines. Am I not that famous in West Matzovia? Or is it because you people hate Henrie?"

It only dawned on him after he heard that name. Henrie. He knew that name. Henrie was the person inviting Ernest's father to a duel, that eventually led to the battle, which West Matzovia had lost.
