Princess Assassin

Runa's heart beat two times faster. Ernest had his way to move her heart like this. The fact that he didn't do it on purpose was even more terrifying.

She peeled off her gaze from his and cleared her throat. She tried to change the subject. "Do you know that I am a bad person?"

"That can't be true. Everyone does bad things from time to time, and it doesn't make them bad."

What if he found out the real Runa? What kind of expression would Ernest have when he found out the things Runa had done to crush Ansgar and Yohana? Would he still be able to say that?

"I'm not so different from Ansgar, you know."

"I would, if I were in his shoes. If my parents were the ultimate hindrance to my relationship with the one I love." Runa was serious with her words. She might not use the roundabout way that Ansgar used, and she might also hesitate before executing it, but she would still kill them if she needed to.
