Inferiority

Just a few days ago, Runa still felt suffocated by the humidity and the hot air, even at night. She remembered grazing her nails on the wall to find any opening–some kind of window or holes between the bricks.

Once she found the spots, she would sit with her back leaning against the opening to get fresh air. Depending on the time of the day, the wind blew through different holes, and Runa came to know the schedule of the wind.

Yet, today, the weather had turned colder.

She was captured by that low nobleman in the spring, and summer had passed. Was it already autumn now? The brick floor turned cold at night.

At the beginning of her capture, some people often came to see her. Ranging from other low noblemen, people from the army or the defense minister, to ladies, whose husbands had contact with Runa would visit her to extract information.
