Your Sunshine and Stars

Runa felt like she was in a deep slumber. There was no dream, so she thought she was dead already.

As she was drifting between reality and the darkness of nothingness, a lot of thoughts and memories ran wildly across her mind. She tried to speak–she wanted to leave a few wise words behind so Ernest wouldn't be so devastated. But she did not have enough strength to move her mouth or her vocal cords.

No! I can't leave him like this.

She prayed to the Saints to give her one more chance to speak with Ernest. She didn't care if it was through a dream or through some kind of magical crystal or anything. She was ready to die, even when she was still in Kievskaya, she was ready.

However, now that she saw Ernest again, something stirred in her chest, and she found it sad to go away like this. She wished to have more time. She wished that she could hold his hand once again. She wanted to treat his wounds before leaving Earth.
