Silver Moon Inn

Three days had passed since Xiao Chen officially became Fang An's disciple, they had already left the forest and Fang An brought Xiao Chen back to the sect but their journey was quite long.

Fang An, who had previously felt anxious and worried because Xiao Chen was too much more mature than his age, slowly started to change his outlook. Not only was Xiao Chen a good and obedient student but also very respectful and filial to Master, causing Fang An to now view him as a prodigy.

"The martial world is a cruel world, but as long as you train hard then you can at least survive well."

On the way Fang An did not tell much about their sect but instead chose to give Xiao Chen an overview of the atmosphere of the martial world.

Xiao Chen felt a little awkward because Fang An's attitude was so different to him compared to his previous life but Xiao Chen understood it. In his previous life Xiao Chen was a five year old traumatized child, this explanation if presented to him by Fang An would only make Xiao Chen choose to stay away from the martial world.

Fang An explained like this, of course because he saw Xiao Chen as a talented and courageous disciple, indeed in this second life, Xiao Chen intends to never disappoint his Master again.

"Chen'er, your Master is not a great person in the martial world and has many shortcomings, but Master hopes that you will not regret being under your Master's tutelage. If one day there is a warrior who is more worthy of educating you, Master will let you be under his tutelage." Fang An said like this with a faint smile. In just three days, Fang An felt that Xiao Chen was too talented to be under his tutelage who had never had a single disciple.

Even though Fang An said that, Xiao Chen knew that Fang An was being modest. The sect that would become Xiao Chen's new home as well as Fang An's place of origin was the Valley of the Hundred Swords, although it couldn't be called a large righteous sect but it wasn't too far from it.

Fang An was known in the martial arts world as the Jade Faced Swordsman, his sword skills were also top-notch which made him one of the top fighters in his sect.

The Valley of the Hundred Swords has a hundred Elders who run the sect called the Sword Elder. These one hundred Sword Elders were the most outstanding martial arts group in the Valley of the Hundred Swords.

Fang An had not only managed to become the youngest Sword Elder in history at only 19 years old, but also the most talented disciple of his generation.

Of course the Jade Faced Swordsman name wasn't derived from his swordplay skills but something else.

"Master, disciple will only follow Master, will not follow others." Xiao Chen dismissed Fang An's good intentions, to him truly Fang An was the only person he deserved to be called Master in his previous life.

"Chen'er, the Martial World isn't what you imagined. There's nothing wrong with having more than one Master, in fact I've had three throughout my life and there may be more." Fang An said as he stroked Xiao Chen's head.

Xiao Chen felt awkward as Fang An stroked his head but didn't say anything, After all he had the mentality of a 92 year old now. The matter of having more than one master also did not Xiao Chen argue any further.

According to him with the Heavenly Dragon God's Scripture still in his memory, he didn't need another Master. As long as he had time, Xiao Chen would be able to conquer the martial world and repair all his past regrets.

"It's getting late, we should rest at that place..." Fang An pointed at a simple inn.

Indeed, the path that Fang An and Xiao Chen took was a trade route, so it was not uncommon for inns and taverns to be found along this route. The last few nights the two of them had stayed out in the open, Fang An felt that there was nothing wrong with them resting in this place this time.

Xiao Chen frowned, for the past few days he had tried to remember everything that happened in his first life starting from the day he met Fang An.

"Shouldn't we be coming to this inn after a week of travel?" Xiao Chen thought as he looked at the inn in front of him.

Xiao Chen remembered this inn quite well because in his previous life when he passed by, it had become ruins and was filled with corpses. Xiao Chen even lost consciousness when he accompanied Fang An to check the conditions inside the ruins.

In his previous life Xiao Chen walked at a slow pace without any vitality so it took him much longer to arrive at this place, on the contrary now he was walking excitedly with Fang An. Xiao Chen didn't know what happened in this inn back then but it definitely wasn't anything good.

"It could all happen tonight…" Xiao Chen whispered softly, worried that he and Fang An would be in danger.

"Chen'er, what are you thinking? Come in…"

"Master, shouldn't we just continue on our way? Student can't wait to see the new residence…" Xiao Chen smiled awkwardly.

Fang An smiled gently and stroked Xiao Chen's head, explaining that their sect wasn't going anywhere so the two didn't need to rush.

Xiao Chen scratched his head which was starting to hurt, it was a miracle that he was able to experience a second life. Xiao Chen didn't want to be killed a few days after his rebirth. Even though Fang An was highly skilled in martial arts, Xiao Chen didn't want to take the risk.

"If I insist on refusing to enter the inn, Master will definitely become suspicious especially if he later hears something happened to this inn…" Xiao Chen was in a dilemma, with no choice but to follow Fang An into the inn.

Xiao Chen could only hope that such a terrible incident would not happen tonight because Xiao Chen couldn't help Fang An should anything happen later.

The two then entered the inn called Silver Moon Inn
