"Pardon me," Caleb apologized. His eyes focused elsewhere, following something closely. "I need a little breather."

Orion quirked an eyebrow at that and followed his line of sight. He smirked when he saw Persephone slip out of the other doorway. He watched Caleb walked across the meeting room. He even greeted Derrick, who wore a smirk with a knowing gleam in his eyes as he raised his mini champagne bottle to him in salute. Leave it to Derrick to be Derrick, he thought to himself amused by the vampire. Caleb disappeared out the other side, following Persephone's footsteps.

They needed to sort everything out.

He glanced down at Caramia, who was trying to keep up with the exuberant Cleo and the shy Briar Devereux. At least, the attention she was receiving was positive. He was glad to know that Mercedes wasn't here. Even so, he could tell Caramia was getting overwhelmed by all of *this*.
