"Thank god she's okay" I said to myself when I reached my apartment. The entire hall seemed to be a little messed. 


"May be I should clean it first" I thought. I took some time to clean up the mess and went to take bath. I dressed up in a casual wear as it was sunday and I don't need to go office after the hospital visit. 


I heard my phone ringing. It was Veni. 


"Hey big boy" she said when I answered her call. 


"Hey..." I said back whiler combing my hair looking at the mirror. 


"Huhh...yeah. Dhiya is sick and got admitted in hospital" 


"Oh. That's why you ran away in the middle of work before. I thought we could meet today" 


"I....have to go there Veni. She is alone and I should look after her" I said. 


"Manipal hospital, look I'll call you after sometime. Sorry" I said and hung up.
