Hèlènè Darozza

It's a busy night at Hèlènè Darroza, and Mira is glad she made a reservation. She's been looking forward to this evening for a while. Alex is charming and handsome, and she's ready to fall in love. He's seated across from her, and she can tell that he's enjoying the ambiance of the restaurant.

But there's one problem: Sam, Mira's friend, is also at the table, and she's got a mischievous look in her eye. Sam is the kind of person who likes to stir things up.

Mira tries to make small talk with Alex, but Sam keeps interrupting. "Mira, I know why you're trying to impress Alex," Sam says, "but don't you think you're being a bit too uptight?" Mira bristles. She doesn't want to seem uptight, but she doesn't want to come across as easy, either.

Then Sam turns to Alex. "what made you like Mira?" she asks. "She's a bit intense, don't you think?" Alex is taken aback.

Mira can feel the color rushing to her cheeks. She doesn't know what to say. On one hand, she doesn't want to make Sam mad. But on the other hand, she doesn't want Alex to think she's uptight. China, Mira's other friend, is sitting there, too, and she's trying to stay out of it. She just wants everyone to have a good time.

"Is that your way of asking me out, Sam?" Alex says, trying to lighten the mood. Sam laughs, but Mira can tell she's not joking.

Mira's heart is pounding. She's never been in a situation like this before. She can feel her palms getting sweaty. She takes a deep breath and tries to think of something to say. "Sam, I appreciate your concern, but I think I can handle this," she says. "I'm a big girl." Sam raises an eyebrow, but she doesn't say anything. China starts talking about the weather, trying to change the subject. Mira is grateful for the distraction.

But she can't help but feel like the evening is ruined.

"Is everything okay, Mira?" Alex asks. He's looking at her with concern, and she feels a little better. Maybe he's not judging her as harshly as she thought. "I'm sorry if Sam made you uncomfortable," he says. "She can be a bit intense." Mira smiles. "I can handle Sam," she says. "And I'm glad you're here with me." Alex smiles back. "So am I," he says. Mira takes another deep breath and tries to relax. Maybe this evening isn't ruined after all.

Mira and Alex begin to chat about their interests and hobbies. They discover that they both love to cook. Mira tells Alex about her favorite dishes to make, and he tells her about his. He tells her about the time he tried to make a soufflé and it completely collapsed. Mira laughs, and she feels herself relax even more. She can see why Alex is such a catch. He's charming and funny, and he seems to genuinely care about her. The conversation continues, and Mira begins to forget about Sam and China. She and Alex are lost in their little world. The food arrives, and they start to eat. Mira takes a bite of her steak, and she almost swoons. It's the most delicious thing she's ever tasted. She looks over at Alex, and he's smiling. "How is it?" he asks. "It's amazing," she says. "I could eat this every day for the rest of my life." Alex chuckles. "I'm glad you like it," he says.

"Do you care for a dance?" Alex asked stretching forth his hands towards Mira.

"Yes, baby," Mira answered taking Alex's hands onto hers.

ON THE DANCE FLOOR

BACKGROUND MUSIC (FADED BY ALAN WALKER)

Alex placed his hands on Mira's waist which made Mira look at him in surprise. She also placed her hand on his shoulder and danced to the rhythm of the song.

"I hope you don't think am uptight," Mira asked.

"No I don't, I don't think you are upright at all, have seen you joke sometimes too."

"Please don't listen to Sam, she's doing and saying all she said to make me feel bad and also to make you feel like am not good enough for you."

"You are my choice and I don't care what she or other people thinks. Have decided to give this relationship a trial and also put my best into it. Miss Mira Alex Hampton, I get what I want." Alex said making Mira blush.

Everyone brought out their phones to record the superstars as other couples made their way to the dance stage.

"I don't like what am seeing at all. I just hate seeing them together. I want Alexander, I do want Alex and I'll have him at all costs." I'll ruin this Mira's life, she knows how much I love Alex ever since college days but she still went ahead to snatch him away from me. Sam said.

"What are you saying, Sam? You are saying nonsense. It's Mira who has always loved Alexander then and even till now and here you are saying she snatched him away from you. Ok let's assume you think she knows you love Alex when we were in college but you never went to him to tell him how you felt, she gathered the courage to tell him even though she knew he never loved her, and now after several trials, and tears he has decided to give her a trial and now you want to ruin this relationship." China half yelled at Sam.

"You better just watch and keep your mouth quiet or else I'll make your life miserable for you." Sam threatened China.

"Hmm... I think we should leave now. Besides Sam's presence here is making me feel tired. I made a big mistake by inviting her." Mira said making Alex smile.

"Let's go then," Alex said as they went out the stage hands in hands over to their table.

"Bye guys....." Mira said and walked over to Sam.

"You will never get my man so stop trying," Mira said in pretence of hugging Sam.

"Just watch and see," Sam responded smiling mischievously.

They both laughed like everything was alright.

Mira took her purse and held Alex's hand as they both left the restaurant.
