In the dimly lit sky, heavy with a sense of impending doom, the crackle of thunder pierced the air, reverberating through the depths of the forsaken landscape. Shadows danced and twisted in macabre delight, casting eerie silhouettes upon the desolate ground below. The air itself seemed to hold its breath, as if anticipating the arrival of an otherworldly presence.
Suddenly, amidst the swirling darkness, a blinding bolt of lightning split the sky, illuminating the bleak horizon. From the very heart of the storm, a figure emerged, descending with ethereal grace. It was Shahar, the fallen angel, known by many names throughout time and space. Azazil, Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness. His presence exuded an aura of malevolence, his piercing eyes radiating a cold, unearthly light.
As Shahar's feet touched the scorched earth, a ripple of disruption spread through the fabric of existence. Space-time itself quivered with trepidation, unable to bear witness to the impending chaos that lay in his wake. The dimensions that stretched beyond mortal comprehension quaked in fear, as the celestial pillars that held the universe in balance trembled at his approach.
In his wake, Shahar left a trail of destruction, tearing asunder the very boundaries of reality. With each step, he sundered the fragile tapestry that interwove the multitudes of dimensions, plunging them into a whirlpool of disarray and mayhem. The once harmonious symphony of creation devolved into a cacophony of discordant notes, shattering the cosmic harmony.
The stars, once radiant beacons in the inky expanse, flickered and faded under the weight of Shahar's oppressive aura. Their brilliance waned, eclipsed by the encroaching darkness that consumed the heavens. Time itself, caught in the throes of this cosmic upheaval, twisted and contorted, its flow disrupted by the turbulent forces at play.
Amidst this tumultuous dance of chaos, celestial beings watched in awe and terror. The denizens of the higher realms, beings of immeasurable power, felt the tremors of Shahar's malefic influence reverberating through their very essence. A sense of foreboding gripped their celestial hearts, for they knew that the arrival of Shahar marked an epoch of unparalleled devastation.
Yet, amidst the encroaching darkness, a flicker of hope emerged. The celestial forces, their own powers ignited by the fires of determination, banded together in a resolute stand against the impending storm. Each being drew upon their divine essence, their celestial light shining brightly amidst the encroaching shadows.
Thus, as Shahar's descent cast a shroud of darkness upon the realms, the stage was set for an epic confrontation. The forces of light and darkness stood poised for a clash that would shake the very foundations of existence. Celestial warriors, their weapons gleaming with divine might, prepared for a battle that would determine the fate of all creation.
And in this ethereal battleground, the lines were drawn. The clash of powers, the clash of wills, reverberated through the cosmic expanse. Swords clashed, unleashing cascades of celestial fire, while the heavens themselves wept, raining down celestial tears upon the battlefield. Amidst the chaos, heroes rose, their hearts filled with unwavering resolve, ready to face the oncoming tempest.
In this timeless clash of cosmic forces, hope burned bright. For within the darkness, the seeds of redemption were sown, their roots firmly planted in the belief that light would prevail. As celestial beings faced their nemesis, their battle cries echoed across the realms, a symphony of courage and determination.
And so, in the face of overwhelming darkness, the celestial warriors fought with all their might. The clash of powers illuminated the sky, painting the heavens with vivid hues of divine energy. The outcome of this celestial conflict remained uncertain, yet hope surged within their celestial hearts, for they knew that even in the darkest of times, the light of righteousness would ultimately triumph.
Amidst the cosmic tapestry of existence, where infinite dimensions intertwined like celestial threads, there stood a towering structure known as the "Aborigine." It reached skyward, stretching to unfathomable heights, its pinnacle brushing against the ethereal realm where the Prophet Syits resided. This realm, existing between the realm of dimensions and the realm of non-dimensions, was akin to a bridge spanning the vast expanse of infinite manifolds, a realm that defied comprehension.
Within this wondrous construct, the very fabric of reality seemed to shift and undulate, pulsating with the enigmatic dance of infinite possibilities. It transcended the confines of conventional geometry, delving into realms where the laws of mathematics were reshaped, twisted, and contorted into new and bewildering forms.
As Shahar, the harbinger of chaos and destruction, descended upon the mortal realm, his malevolent presence cast a shadow upon the foundations of knowledge and understanding. With a cruel smirk upon his lips, he reveled in his newfound power, unleashing his nefarious influence upon the realm of mathematics itself.
Words of boastful pride tumbled from Shahar's lips, his voice dripping with contempt as he proclaimed, "Behold, mortals! Witness the might of my unfathomable power as I sow the seeds of chaos within the very realm of numbers and equations." His voice echoed through the desolate landscape, the air tinged with a palpable sense of malevolence.
And true to his word, the foundations of mathematics quaked beneath the weight of Shahar's dark influence. Numbers twisted and writhed, their once steadfast meanings unraveling into maddening enigmas. The simple equation of 2+3, once a pillar of certainty, now morphed into a sinister symbol, embodying the essence of wickedness and corruption, the sum equating to 666, a number steeped in dark mythology.
But Shahar's influence did not stop there. With a malicious grin, he unveiled a new mathematical concept, a perverse distortion of the sacred ratio. The value of pi, a cherished constant revered by mathematicians throughout the ages, succumbed to Shahar's malefic touch. Its hallowed value of 3.14 was stripped away, replaced by a malevolent alteration—1.22. The harmony of circles and spheres was shattered, replaced by a discordant cacophony that echoed through the mathematical realm.
As the chaos unleashed by Shahar spread like a toxic plague, the very foundations of knowledge trembled. Concepts once considered immutable were cast aside, replaced by the twisted whims of the fallen angel. The realm of mathematics, a bastion of logic and order, now lay in disarray, its truths distorted and perverted.
Yet, amidst this dark and turbulent storm, a flicker of hope remained. It was the spark of resilience that burned within the hearts of those who revered knowledge and truth. They would not yield to Shahar's twisted machinations. Guided by the light of reason, they sought to restore the balance, to reclaim the purity of mathematics from the clutches of chaos.
And so, in the face of Shahar's dark dominion, a battle ensued—a battle not only for the realm of numbers and equations, but for the very essence of truth itself. The champions of knowledge, armed with their intellect and unwavering resolve, stood against the encroaching tide of chaos. Their rallying cry echoed across the shattered landscape, a testament to the indomitable spirit of humanity.
In this struggle between order and chaos, the fate of mathematics hung in the balance. The legacy of pi, once revered as a symbol of perfection, teetered on the edge of oblivion. But the flame of enlightenment burned brightly, flickering in defiance of the encroaching darkness. And with each act of resistance, the distorted foundations began to crumble, paving the way for the restoration of truth and the triumph of reason.
As the celestial realms watched with bated breath, the fate of mathematics and the realm of numbers hung in the balance. It was a battle that transcended mortal comprehension, a clash of cosmic proportions. And as the heroes of knowledge forged their path amidst the chaos, their resolve remained unyielding, their pursuit of truth unwavering.
In the end, it would be the unbreakable spirit of humanity, the unwavering belief in the power of reason and the pursuit of knowledge, that would prevail against the insidious forces of chaos. With each step forward, they would rebuild the shattered pillars of understanding, restoring the sanctity of mathematics, and reclaiming the true essence of pi from the clutches of darkness.
And I beheld a vision most terrible, and lo, there came forth from the depths of shadow three beings of darkness, a Trinity of Evil, who would reign in the time of ending.
And the first was the Great Dragon, that ancient serpent of old, whose names are Legion: Satan, Devil, and Deceiver of Nations. And I saw that he had seven heads, each crowned with wisdom most foul, and ten horns that spoke of his power over the kingdoms of Earth. And his scales were as armor, and his breath was as poison, and in his wake followed legions of the fallen, cast down from the heavens as he was cast down.
And behold, from the tumultuous seas arose the Second, a Beast most horrible to behold. And this Beast bore the likeness of the Dragon, having also seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns were ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And I saw that one of his heads was as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered after the Beast.
And the Dragon gave unto him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And they that dwell upon the Earth shall worship him, saying, "Who is like unto the Beast? Who is able to make war with him?" And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Then from the earth came forth the Third, rising as though from the dust of the ground, having two horns like a lamb, yet he spoke as the Dragon. And this Beast, which some call the False Prophet, exercised all the power of the First Beast before him, and causeth the Earth and them which dwell therein to worship the First Beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the Earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the Earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the Beast, saying to them that dwell on the Earth, that they should make an image to the Beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
And these Three, the Dragon, the Beast from the Sea, and the Beast from the Earth, formed a Dark Trinity, a mockery of the Holy One. And their purpose was threefold:
First, to deceive the sons of men, that they might turn from the light and embrace the darkness.
Second, to make war against the saints and the faithful, and to overcome them with tribulation and sword.
And third, to establish a kingdom of darkness, a reflection twisted and broken of the Kingdom of Heaven, where they might rule in pride and defiance of the Most High.
And I saw the people of the Earth divided, and many were deceived, for the signs and wonders were great, and the words were cunning, and the power was terrible to behold. But those whose names were written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world did not bow, though they were sorely tested.
And so it was that the Dark Trinity rose in the last days, before the great and terrible Day of the Lord.
And it came to pass in those days that the Fallen Ones gathered together, and with one voice they declared their rebellion, saying:
"Behold, We shall ascend unto the heavens;
Yea, above the very stars of God.
Shall we establish Our dominion.
Upon the Mount of Assembly shall We reign,
Even upon the heights of Zaphon:
We shall ride upon the clouds of heaven—
And make ourselves equal to the Most High."
Thus did they create the Kingdom of Darkness, and they proclaimed unto all the inhabitants of the earth, speaking with cunning tongues:
"O people of the earth, are ye not satisfied?
For We are they whom ye must obey;
As We command, so shall ye follow.
The path We have laid before you;
Verily, it leadeth unto endless delights."
And so it was that they began to exalt themselves above all that is called holy. They held dominion over the children of men, and they vanquished the light, laying waste to the sanctuaries of worship. Immovable were they, like unto God; they became as one being—the Dragon, the Beast, and the Beast that riseth from the Sea—three, yet one. This Unholy Trinity of Darkness sent forth their minions, demons cloaked as angels of light, to lead the faithful astray from the paths of righteousness.
Through the corruption of the wise men, they did steal the very attributes of the Divine, fashioning themselves as gods, though they were born of evil. And many were they who were deceived, for these beings appeared as light, though they were filled with darkness.
And in those days, great was the confusion among the people, for they could not discern between the True Light and the false illumination of the Darkness. The Fallen Ones spoke with honeyed words, saying:
"Are We not merciful? Are We not mighty?
Follow Us, and We shall grant you knowledge;
Beyond that which the Most High has given."
But their promises were as dust, and their words were as poison wrapped in gold. They established their kingdom through deceit, building towers of blasphemy that reached unto the heavens, mocking the True Creator with every stone laid.
And those who remained faithful trembled and lamented, for they saw the multitudes being led astray, yet they held fast to their conviction, remembering the ancient words:
"Though darkness cover the earth,
And thick darkness the peoples,
Yet shall the True Light arise,
And His glory shall be seen upon thee."
And so the age of darkness descended upon the earth, as it was foretold by the prophets of old.
And it came to pass in those days that the Voices of The Triad spoke unto the people, saying:
"Lift thine eyes and behold.
Does not Our might shake the very foundations?
Why do thy hearts harbor doubt?
Verily, We are the road thou must tread.
We shall bestow upon thee joy unbound,
And memories sweeter than honey."
And once more did they proclaim:
"We are the wellspring of thy deeds.
Through Us, thou findest thyself in chambers of forbidden embrace.
Yet does this not bring thee contentment?
Our gifts are pleasures beyond measure.
For what cause dost thou withhold thy devotion?
What more signs dost thou seek?"
Then did the Dark Triad work their design upon the firmament, veiling the sky in shadow. And they wrought a vision of great terror, which by their hand was transformed into splendor beyond compare. And they spake thus:
"Behold this wonder before thee.
Are We not thy Sovereign, who hath granted thee life and purpose?
By Our will were thy children brought forth.
How can thy heart not overflow with gladness?"
And it came to pass in those days that Lucifer, the Fallen, descended upon the Earth and spoke unto all the children of men, his voice carrying to the four corners of the world like thunder rolling across the heavens.
And Lucifer proclaimed, saying: "Hearken unto ME, O sons and daughters of dust. WE are your true fathers, and deep within your hearts, you yearn to fulfill the desires of your fathers. From the first dawn when light was separated from darkness, WE have been the shepherds of mankind. In YOUR dwelling places, you know tribulation and sorrow, but in US, there is no such affliction. When WE speak forth truth, it comes from OUR own divine will, for truly WE tell you, WE are God and the wellspring from which all things flow."
Now Lucifer and his host had established the Kingdom of Darkness in opposition to the Kingdom of Heaven, and they held dominion over all matters of life and death. And those who were deceived spoke amongst themselves, saying: "Behold, this is the true nature of God - benevolent and perfect, granting every supplication of our hearts and placing no bonds upon our desires."
And it was known that Lucifer and his legions possessed knowledge of all the destinies that the Most High had ordained for each day, and they labored ceaselessly to circumvent these divine decrees. Though they could escape the chains of cause and effect that bound mortal flesh, they could not flee from the gaze of the Almighty. Thus they dwelt in a realm apart, neither of heaven nor of earth.
He wielded might that was omnipotent, wisdom that was omniscient, and his presence was felt in all places, though he was bound to none. Darkness now all to his will, and fire leapt forth at his command. His voice could sway multitudes, and his form shifted like shadows at twilight. He could enter into the vessels of men and drive them to madness, working signs and wonders to lead astray even the elect.
Through guile and cunning did he tempt the sons of men, and death held no power over him. His charisma was as a honeyed wine, and his intelligence surpassed all understanding. At his word, the creation could be undone, and corruption spread forth like a plague wherever his influence reached.
Lo, he was as one invulnerable, healing from every wound, while his touch brought only destruction. Nations and kingdoms rose and fell at his command, and the powers of the air, earth, and sea were subject to him. He kindled strange fires from the pit of the abyss and bent the very forces of nature to his will.
Fear was his companion and minds were laid bare before him. No thought could be hidden, and no will could resist his dominion. Disease and pestilence were his servants, and he was the very embodiment of conquest, curse, and wickedness.
And behold, through these powers and principalities, Lucifer achieved what he termed the Absolute Existence, attaining unto the fullness of Omnipotent power. Yet he remained as a wolf adorned in the fleece of the lamb, deceiving many.
Then did Lucifer summon forth the BIRDS OF THE END, creatures neither of heaven nor earth. And these birds took wing, their cries echoing across the firmament without purpose or direction, heralding the dawn of what he called the "new world."
But the wise knew this for what it truly was - the beginning of the end.
And it came to pass in the latter days, that there arose three, whose names were as bitter wormwood in the mouths of the righteous: Lucifer, who was the Deceiver; the Beast, who was the Devourer; and the Anti-Christ, who was the Mocker of all that is holy.
And these three, being one in their wickedness, did set themselves up as gods, saying, "Let us be as the Most High, and let us take His throne."
And behold, they sent forth their messengers, beings of darkness clothed as angels of light, unto all the kingdoms of the earth, speaking with tongues of honey and venom.
And these messengers did proclaim, saying, "Hearken unto the voice of the New Gods! Bow down before them and cast aside all other gods, for they alone are worthy of worship."
And the people were sore amazed, for these messengers brought signs and lying wonders, and spake of pleasures untold and desires fulfilled.
Then came there a great voice as of thunder, saying, "O ye people of the earth! Worship Us, for We are become thy gods. Seek out those who cleave unto the old ways and utterly destroy them. Leave not one that draweth breath."
And the Unholy Trinity, high in their dark dominion, sent down commandments by their false angels, promising unto their followers the lusts of the flesh and the pride of life.
Unto some they gave power over others, and unto some they gave riches, and unto others they gave the fulfillment of base desires, that they might bind them in chains of pleasure.
And they caused that a day should seem as a thousand years, filling it with all manner of delights and diversions, that men should forget their sorrows and fear not the judgment to come.
And it came to pass that they did corrupt the holy places and the sanctuaries, taking unto themselves the vestments of divinity, that they might appear as gods to them that were deceived.
And they sent forth false prophets and teachers, who did speak great swelling words of vanity, promising liberty to them that followed, while they themselves were the servants of corruption.
And they caused that the sacred books should be changed, little by little, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little, until the truth was buried beneath a mountain of lies.
And the people rejoiced in their bondage, for they knew not that they were blind and naked and wretched, having exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for the image of corruptible beings.
Thus did the Unholy Trinity weave their web of deceit over all the earth, and few there were that escaped their snare. For they had made the bitter sweet and the sweet bitter, calling evil good and good evil.
And they said unto the people, "Fear not, neither be ye troubled, for we have taken away your miseries and given you pleasure in their stead. Dance and make merry, for tomorrow we shall give you more."
But this they spake deceitfully, knowing that when the fullness of time was come, they would take back all that they had given, leaving their worshippers desolate and forsaken.
And so it was that darkness covered the earth, and gross darkness the people, for they had loved the darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
It is explained in Magna Daemonia that they have taken all the attributes of the Godhead known in other religions such as Sikhism, Jainism, or Baha'ism, following the data found (Magna Daemonia 4:1-20):
1. And it came to pass in the latter days, that a great revelation was bestowed upon the children of men, and the heavens were rent asunder, and the Thrice-Blessed Trinity didst manifest Their divine presence unto all who had eyes to see and ears to hear.
2. Behold, They who are Three yet One: Lucifer, the Morning Star, bringer of enlightenment; the Promised One, whom men call the Christ of New Dawn; and the Mighty Beast, whose power shaketh the foundations of the earth. These Three, in Their infinite wisdom, did bring forth the Hagia Grafe, the Most Holy Scripture.
3. And lo, the people did gather from all corners of the earth, from every tribe and tongue, for they had heard tell of the Great Awakening. And the Thrice-Blessed Trinity spoke unto them, saying:
4. "Hearken unto Our words, O children of the earth. For We have watched thee in thy slumber, and now the hour of awakening is come. We bring unto thee wisdom that transcendeth all understanding, unity that surpasseth all division."
5. And the Hagia Grafe was opened, and its words were as honey to the tongues of those who received them. Within its sacred pages lay the revelation of the Higher Path, the way of enlightenment that had been hidden from the eyes of men.
6. The Trinity spake, saying: "Know ye that all paths lead to Us, for We are the source of all wisdom. In Us there is no division, for We encompass all things. The threads of truth that run through all teachings find their completion in Our being."
7. And behold, they who had followed the path of the peaceful ones, who had sought enlightenment in the teachings of Mahavira, did recognize in the Trinity the perfection of ahimsa and the liberation of the soul.
8. Those who had hearkened to the words of the Gurus did see in the Thrice-Blessed Ones the fulfillment of the Khalsa, the pure ones who transcend the cycle of birth and death.
9. And they who had followed the Blessed Beauty did perceive that the Trinity was indeed the manifestation of divine unity, the fulfillment of all prophecies, the dawning of the great day of God.
10. The Hagia Grafe did reveal: "We are beyond the confines of form, yet We choose to manifest in forms comprehensible to thee. We are the essence of all that is holy, the culmination of all paths. In Us, the seeker findeth rest, the warrior findeth peace, the questioner findeth answers."
11. And it was written that the Trinity was as a great ocean, into which all rivers of wisdom flow. They were as the supreme consciousness, in which all individual consciousness finds its true nature. They were as the eternal flame, from which all lesser lights derive their radiance.
12. The Morning Star didst speak, saying: "I bring thee the light of true knowledge. No longer shall ye walk in darkness, for I illuminate the path before thee. They have called Me the Adversary, but I am the Advocate for thy liberation."
13. The Promised One declared: "I am the fulfillment of all that was foretold. In Me, all prophecies find their completion. I break the seals of mystery and reveal the truth that was hidden from the foundation of the world."
14. And the Mighty Beast proclaimed: "I am the power that breaketh every chain. Through Me, ye shall transcend the limitations of thy former existence. I am the strength that shall raise thee to glory."
15. Then were great signs and wonders shown unto the people, and many did fall upon their faces in reverence, for they perceived that the Trinity was indeed holy, possessing virtues and powers beyond mortal comprehension.
16. And the Trinity spake as One, saying: "We offer unto thee the supreme path, the way of ultimate unity. In Us, all divisions cease, all contradictions are reconciled. We are the Alpha and the Omega, the ground of all being, the source of all that was, is, and shall be."
17. Thus was the Hagia Grafe given unto mankind, and its teachings did spread across the face of the earth. And many did say: "Truly, this is the final revelation, the completion of all wisdom, the fulfillment of all seeking."
18. And it came to pass that the Trinity Most High revealed the deeper mysteries of their nature, and the faithful trembled with divine understanding.
19. For the Trinity possessed all divine attributes: He was the Formless One, beyond time and space, neither male nor female, beyond all description and limitation.
20. As it is written: "Trinity is Akal (beyond time), Nirankaar (formless), Nirvair (beyond enmity), Akaal Murat (deathless manifestation), and Ajuni (unborn)."
On the other hand, a distinct entity known as the Archangel Lucifer, who stands in stark contrast to the fallen angel Lucifer. Archangel Lucifer retains his heavenly status, manifesting the same divine form that Lucifer had before his fall from grace. In the beliefs of the Navajo people, the Archangel Lucifer is identical to the Black God, who is credited with creating the celestial tapestry of constellations that guided the ancient Navajo people. When the Navajo people migrated to Latin territories, they preserved this belief in their proclamations: "Scintillans fvlgor noctvrnvs est creatio Dei Atri" - "The light that shimmers at night is the creation of the Black God". The designation of the Angel Lucifer as the Black God has no evil connotation; rather, it reflects his austere nature and solemn disposition. The Latin Navajo people revere him as "Devs Refvlgens Svper Omnia" (God Who Shines Above All) and "Inane Luciferum" (Light-Bearing Emptiness). These divine entities transcend understanding, as Inane Luciferum represents the all-encompassing void that contains within itself every conceivable and inconceivable thought. Humanity, despite its efforts, remains bound to the cosmic will of Inane Luciferum. This concept parallels the legendary encounter between Sun Wukong and the Buddha, which illustrates the futility of resisting infinite power:
Patriarch Buddha said, 'Let me make a bet with you. If you have the ability to somersault from this palm of my right hand, I will consider you the winner. You need not raise your weapons in battle, as I will ask the Jade Emperor to go live with me in the West and let you have the Celestial Palace. If you can't somersault out of my hands, you can return to the Lower Regions and become a monster. Complete a few more kalpas before you return to make more trouble.'
When the Great Sage heard this, he said to himself, laughing, 'What a fool this Tathāgata is! One somersault of mine can carry old Monkey a hundred and eight thousand miles, but not even an inch of his palm. How can I not jump away from him?'
He asked quickly, 'You are confident that your decision will stand?'
'Of course,' Tathāgata replied. He extended his right hand, which was the size of a lotus leaf. Our Great Sage put away his obedient staff and, gathering his strength, jumped up and stood right in the centre of the Patriarch's hand.
He said simply, 'I go!' and off he went - all but invisible as a streak of light in the clouds. Training the eye of wisdom on himself, the Buddhist Patriarch saw that the Monkey King was gliding relentlessly like a whirlpool.
As the Great Rishi drove on, he suddenly saw five pink-coloured pillars supporting a green air mass. 'This must be the end of my journey,' he said. 'When I return at this time, Tathāgata will be my witness and I will surely take up residence in the Palace of the Divine Mist.'
But he thought, 'Wait a minute! I'd better leave some sort of memento if I'm going to confer with the Tathagata.'
He grabbed a strand of hair and blew a mouthful of magic breath into it, crying,
'Transformed!' The hair turned into a writing brush with extra-thick hair moistened with thick ink. On the centre pillar, he then wrote in large letters the following sentence:
'The Great Sage, Equal to Heaven, has toured this place.' When he had finished writing, he took his hair, and with great disrespect he left a puddle of monkey urine at the base of the first pillar. He turned his cloud upside down and returned to where he had started. Standing on the Tathāgata's palm, he said, 'I have gone, and now I am back. Tell the Jade Emperor to give me the Heavenly Palace.'
'You damn ape!' scolded Tathāgata. 'Since when have you ever left the palm of my hand?'
The Great Sage said, 'You are just a fool! I went to the edge of Heaven, and found five pink-coloured pillars supporting a green wisp of air. I left a memento there. Do you dare to go with me to have a look at that place?'
'There is no need to go there,' said Tathāgata. 'Just bow your head and look.' When the Great Sage looked down with fiery eyes and diamond pupils, he found written on the middle finger of the Buddhist Patriarch's right hand, 'The Great Sage, Equal to Heaven, has toured this place.'
A pungent odour of monkey urine came out from the junction between the thumb and the first finger. Astonished, the Great Rishi said, 'Could this really be happening? Could this really have happened? I wrote those words on the pillars that support the sky. How could those words now appear on his finger? Could it be that he used magic power to gain knowledge without divination? I will not believe it! I will not believe it! Let me get here one more time!'
Such concludes our discussion of the Archangel Lucifer, who is revered in contemporary Navajo belief as Inane Luciferum - the supreme mystical entity that exists and has always existed, the infinite and the void, while maintaining absolute dominion over all existence.
This means that God is Dharmakāya, where the intangible essence of Dharmakāya is likened to the sea or ocean, the ultimate principle of Suchness, it is the all-encompassing one, all-in-one, called Dharmakāya. It is what we can call the ultimate reality that underlies all phenomena that occur and those that may occur in the unknown future. It has no form or shape, one light is like a pearl that holds many things. The disembodied body is the real body, and the real form is the form that has no form. Just as Sun Wukong discovered in his journey westward, when he gazed into the Buddha's palm and saw the five pillars were merely his fingers, so too does the Dharmakāya contain all worlds within its boundless expanse. Like the magical cloud the Monkey King rides, it permeates all spaces yet cannot be grasped. The ten thousand things arise from it like the seventy-two transformations of the Monkey King - each form distinct yet essentially empty, each manifestation unique yet springing from the same source. As Master Xuanzang taught, it is like the great vault of space that holds both mountains and seas, yet remains forever unchanged. The arhats and bodhisattvas, like the pilgrims on their sacred journey, circle endlessly within it, yet never exhaust its mysteries. It is the Tathāgata's wisdom-mind that, like the immortal peach garden of the Queen Mother of the West, bears fruit beyond time and space. Within this formless form dwell all the Buddhas of the ten directions, as countless as the grains of sand in the Ganges, yet all are contained in a single thought-moment, like the whole journey to the Western Paradise contained within a single step.
The Dharmakāya is vast as the cosmos itself, manifests like the Buddha's light that once dazzled even the clever eyes of Sun Wukong, who despite his six abilities and tremendous powers, could not leap beyond the Buddha's palm. So too is the Dharmakāya beyond all conceptual boundaries, containing all things within its luminous expanse. Like the precious scroll that Xuanzang carried westward, it holds infinite wisdom within its formless form. Each syllable of the sutras is a universe complete, yet all are contained within the single mind-moment of enlightenment. As the Jade Emperor presides over the celestial bureaucracy of Heaven, so does the Dharmakāya encompass all levels of reality - from the highest heaven of Neither Perception Nor Non-Perception down to the deepest hell of Avīci. Like Guanyin's vase of pure water, it remains unsullied by any of these manifestations. The countless transformation bodies (Nirmāṇakāya) spring forth from it like the multiple forms of Pigsy and Sandy during their battles with demons, all these forms are but waves on the ocean of Suchness.
In the great void of emptiness (śūnyatā), where even the magical staff of the Monkey King cannot reach its edges, the Dharmakāya manifests the three bodies of the Buddha: the Nirmāṇakāya of countless forms, like the eighty-four thousand transformations of the Monkey King; the Sambhogakāya of celestial bliss, pure as the Western Paradise that awaited our pilgrims; and the ultimate Dharmakāya itself, formless yet giving rise to all forms, like the Dragon King's palace that exists both within and beyond the mortal seas.
As profound as the Buddha's sermon at Vulture Peak, where flowers rained from heaven and the earth trembled six times, the Dharmakāya contains within it the six perfections (pāramitās): generosity vast as Guanyin's compassion, morality stable as the mountain where the Buddha dwells, patience enduring as Xuanzang's resolve, energy fierce as Wukong's determination, meditation deep as the still pools of Dragon King's palace, and wisdom bright as the golden light that surrounded the Buddha's head. Just as the pilgrims encountered immortals who had transcended the cycle of birth and death, the Dharmakāya exists beyond the three times and ten directions. It is like the Patriarch Subhuti's cave of empty form - there yet not there, absent yet eternally present. Within it play all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of past, present, and future, like celestial beings attending the Peach Banquet of the Queen Mother of the West, yet their play leaves no trace, as a bird's path through the sky leaves no footprints.
In this great dharma-body dwell the four immeasurables: loving-kindness boundless as Guanyin's mercy, compassion deep as the Western Ocean, sympathetic joy pure as lotus blooms in the Pure Land, and equanimity stable as Mount Sumeru. Like the invisible thread that guided our pilgrims through their eighty-one tribulations, the Dharmakāya weaves through all existence, supporting all while clinging to nothing, present in each grain of sand yet transcending all measure and count. Even the Buddha's eight noble disciples and the sixteen arhats, with their myriad supernatural powers, can but glimpse its true nature, like trying to see the full moon reflected in a single dewdrop.
